"I say go elsewhere. They don't have many workers in some areas and keep recommending the same ones over and over again. They charge their workers about $35 for each lead. Some workers get mad if you don't hire them, complaining they lost their $35 (can't remember but it's about that figure). I have had 2 bad experiences with Home Advisor workers. I wrote reviews and they were NEVER PUBLISHED. I had asked for help with one of the workers. When I told the clerk answering the phone I was going to give a bad review of one she said 'well, we will publish it only if it is 'the truth.' That's how they get away with erasing reviews. I guess THEY decide if you are 'telling the truth'. If you want HONEST reviews go to Yelp, Google and read the complaints on Better Business Bureau. I use Angie's list but I have heard bad things about some of their 'best-rated' contractors from other homeowners. Now Home Advisor is one of ResellerRatings' paid members, so let's see if they print this bad review."
