"Home Reserve sells reasonably priced, unassembled living room furniture. The frames are die cut, strong ply-board that fit together like puzzle pieces with screw reinforcement. The seat cushions are thick, firm, solid foam. You choose either solid foam or pillow type (stuffed) back cushions. You also choose the arm style and you have quite a large choice of fabric coverings. The coverings (these are not slipcovers) are pre-made but you do have to put them on the assembled frame & cushions.
The total cost of your furniture depends upon the fabric choice. They offer several fabrics in varying price ranges, starting at around $299 for a complete sofa. Samples are available for $1 each; no shipping charge.
Shipping for the furniture is per piece (no discount for mulitiple pieces or anything) via UPS. The site says it will deliver in 15 days from order date. My order arrived in 13 days (including Sundays) but that may be because I live in a closer UPS shipping range. (Shipping took actually only 2 days for my order.)
OK, now that you know basically what the company is I will rate my experience: I gave Home Reserve 5 stars because of Value = 5, Quality = 5, Appearance = 5, Ease of Assembly = 4, and Customer Service = 5+. Now, I'm basing my review on the fact that this is simple, decent, sturdy, functional furniture. It is not highly decorative, nor anything high end. But for basic seating with no springs or bells & whistles, it is quite comfortable & very durable.
Customer Service is outstanding! I've seen many reviews that questioned if Home Reserve posts negative comments. I made, not negative, but rather pointed out some issues with assembly on their Customer Comments page (covering the arms is not easy!), and that one seat cushion had a small fabric flaw. HR not only posted my comment, but emailed me the following day to tell me they were sending a replacement seat cover - no charge & I didn't have to request it.
Did I mention you can order replacement fabrics? Yes, make your furniture look brand-new again (because, yes it will last that long!) and also has storage AND is made in the U.S.A.
Home Reserve has won my respect and loyalty. Other companies should take a lesson from this cottage industry: Customer Service equals Customer Loyalty!"
