terrible stay away!!!!

"I bought a bathroom heater from them in February 2021. They represented that they ship in about 14 days. After a month, elapsed without the heater, I contacted them. for the first time, I learned that this product was "on backorder" a term that I would see frequently with them. About a month later I received the heater. Our electrician tried to install it. Again, for the first time we learned that we need a thermostat for the heater. Wasted electrician visit (not free). The thermostat was order but didn't arrive. I learned that this was also "on backorder" again for the first time. It still did not come. Then I learned that it was "on backorder" a second time and was due in July 2021! Started this in February 2021, 6 months before! Called homelectrical to see if they had another compatible thermostat in stock, and was told that they did. It arrived. It was Not compatible! Another wasted electrician visit. Returned it and got a compatible thermostat. For he first time, we were able to turn on the heater. It was August 2021 now. It did not work!. I arranged to return the thermostat and heater. homelectrical charged me $28 plus change because I did not return it within 30 days!!! They claimed it was returned under their warranty so I had to pay for shipping. Finally received the new heater and thermostat. Now it is November 2021! Electrician returned and installed heater and thermostat and it worked. Yay. It took only 9 months and cost a fortune because my electrician does not work free. He has a family to support. Homelectrical kept telling me how sorry they were, but never offered to pay the electrician for his time they wasted, nor for shipping after they delayed so much that I couldn't possibly return the defective merchandise within 30 days. I asked several times to speak with management. No dice. Finally customer service said that an owner would call me the next day. Never happened. Instead I received an email from a supervisor with the same lip service about how sorry they were and that the merchandise was returned under the warranty, after 30 days.

I learned: Never, under any circumstance do business from homelectrical! They made a profit of about 60% on my order and were totally unwilling to do anything constructive about the problems they created. Never do business with homelectrical!!

They change the price AFTER accepting the order and putting a hold on your credit card

"I decided to buy a couple of items and their web site gave the price including shipping. I ordered and they placed a hold on my charge card for that amount. 3 DAYS LATER, after they had accepted my order at THEIR price, they called and told me I owed more money. Not even the slightest apology. I see that other reviewers have the same sort of problems.

I asked them to cancel the order and release the hold on my credit card. They said they will. I hope the actually do that.

Order from these folks at your own risk.
