I am writing you today in order to express my disappointment in the inadequate customer service and poor quality of goods that I am subjected to by mail after multiple correspondence. My wife, of whom I love dearly, ask of me to be civil and cordial in my response to you. As the consumer, repeatedly I had high expectations that Hookedontronics will do the right thing in regards to my purchases. My expectation of pleasing my wife with quality Kenwood subwoofers being installed in her truck was shattered with each defective shipment. The first order was made in 9/23/2013 for 2 KENWOOD EXCELON XR-W12F CAR 12" SHALLOW MOUNT THIN SUBWOOFER SUB WOOFER PAIR ( item: 331017514841 transaction: 879784225014 ). I had them professionally installed in Anchorage, AK at a later date because my wife's 2013 Toyota Tundra Crewmax truck was kept in storage in Anchorage while we worked remotely in Dutch Harbor, AK. While on vacation in Hawaii we paid a professional for a $1,000 install. I got a call from Pefectionist, the contracted audio installer, claiming that one of the two subwoofers were defective. I emailed you about the defect on 11/26/2013 for a replacement, and got a reply on 12/02/2013 requiring me to send the subwoofer back to you to sort out the problem, which was understandable. Unfortunately, my wife and I had returned to Dutch Harbor for work before getting that reply. So I purchased a replacement on 11/28/2013 to help expedite a resolve to my problem, and in doing so that subwoofer was equally defective. Meaning, it too had a separation in the rubber mount on the woofer which prevented any play of the sub without gross distortion. I emailed you again on 12/30/2013 about my displeasure in receiving another defective product. I kept the later sub and returned the earlier sub that was found defective by my installer. I then received an email from you that you got the subwoofer back and that your techs were to inspect the woofer for repairs. Later to receive another email from you requesting of me to pay for shipping on a new replacement rather than wait on the repair job. I agreed and paid the $45 dollars for shipping, yet to my amazement I again became the receipient of another defective subwoofer Ha Ha Haa....God bless you! Please see attached photos for details! Only one quality subwoofer was received since our correspondence, and all the others have been defective. I will not continue disapponting myself or my wife by trusting Hookedontronics to do right by me. I forgive you, this Valentines Day I will use an apoxy to fix the problem myself. Thank you for sending me another defective subwoofer to present to my wife! I do believe that Kenwood have an excellent product but poor retailers marketing their goods.
