"I recently purchased a new vacuum cleaner from hoover.com. When the vacuum cleaner, it appears either used or shelved for a long time, because it has brownish grease on some parts. Also it arrived in a non-retail box (which I later found was in the item description.) I called customer service, told them it does not look new and asked for a replacement. Customer service was rude and told me I have to pay for the shipping cost back to them. I was really annoyed so I posted a note on BBB, where I noticed a significant large amount of complaints unanswered from this merchant.

However, after I posted the note, a week later I received a call from their customer relation that they will send me a sticker so I can return this to them for free shipping. I received this sticker about another week later. But by the time I got the call, I have already started using it and is OK with the performance. So I ended up keeping the product.

So the review to this merchant is bad, but not totally bad."
