"I use to order from Horizon Hobby each month for the last 10 years or so. They use to ship my items in less than 2 days, fantastic service back then!
Now, every order is systematically wrong, or lost, and I have to call them (at least one hour wait in the phone) after each order to tell them to send it.
What happen? Did they all swallow idiot potion?"
"This company is a joke. If you order something, even if they show it as in stock, be prepared to wait 2 to 3 months. You've been warned!"

"I bought a brand new Arrma Vendetta and straight from the box it had problems. The car would not run for more than 2 minutes at a time before I would lose steering and acceleration. Took back to the hobby store and it worked for the 15 minutes I used it. I bought this out of state, when I got back home it was doing the same thing. Contacted horizon and they basically told me tough luck because I could not find the receipt. Any fool could tell it was brand new and all I wanted was for it to get fixed. Was not looking for a refund but I will never buy from horizon again."

"I purchased a senton 3s short truck, out of thr box the tires were loose. Suspension screw holes stripped and tires were poorly glued. I'm still waiting for an email reply from Horizon Hobby on when I can ship this **** back to them to have it refurbished. I will never purchase anything from these people. "
"Be very cautious of the Horizon website. I have had at least 2 incidents where a part for an RC car was listed. The parts were actually for other cars and caused me to make s costly purchase of an unusable part. I have also had a bad experience with their techs. I was told a part would fit a car when in reality it didn’t. Cross-check their information with a second source or a print. "

"Overall I can't say anything negative about Horizon. I have purchased a couple of different models from them and with high powered electric systems things are determined to break or fail. Everytime I have contacted customer support with my issues they quickly solved my issues with either replacements of the components that failed or help with troubleshooting the problem. Compared to Traxxas customer support and warranty claims Horizon Hobbies seems to stand by their products way better than Traxxas enough so that I no longer even consider Traxxas products anymore. Just my opinion and my overall experience with Horizon is positive."
"I tried to purchase an e-gift card from Horizon Hobby. They sell them, but you cannot arbitrarily write in an amount for the card. They have a few amounts in a drop down to choose from. The problem exists that the recipient's email is never asked for. I did the chat thing and got now where with the virtual assistant. A person chatted and said the box was there for the recipient's email. Tried again, and still no box. She checked with a supervisor and I was told that a place for the recipient's email would show after the checkout and payment. A bold face lie. I was fuming. Not there and the order went through, no email asked for the recipient. It took another visit with a virtual assistant and a real assistant to cancel the order. I was then told the email would come to me and then I would have to forward it. I had no intention of doing that, and no where did it state that was the way their broke system worked. If I could have given no stars I would. Way too much time and frustration spent for what should have been a simple task.

terrible technicians and customer service.
purchased a new umx turbo timber at Horizon Hobby Europe.
First flight it lost connection to the receiver and crashed. thought it was a one time issue. Third flight it lost connection in 20 meter height and uncontrollable went nose down into the ground.
i have the same transmitter running on
10 planes. no issues.
did researched that this plane has transmitter issues and sent it for 35 Euros self paid to Horizon.
they told me that the receiver cannot be tested because its too damaged.
and offered 50 percent off a new turbo timber. meanwhile the price of that plane got 40 percent higher on their website.
then they suddenly said the receiver is working?!? i bet they never tested it.
its a joke, any reasonable company issues a full refund if they ship a damaged product.
i had a broken heli and airplane from Banggood and they issued a full refund and shipping for both.
shame on Horizon. never again"
"trying to get my ix 12 updated. one guy tells me the update will be back online in 24-48 hours, no such luck. he also tells me that if he thought it would be long that he would advise me to send it in and they would update it for me. 4 days later I call back, because the update is still not available on line, I'm told he has not idea when it will be back online, that are working on it. I asked if need to send the radio in, he said no, they would do the update like I would. Which one doesn't know what they are talking about?"
"I ordered a expensive rc truck,a week after I received my order they sent another truck and drained my checking account just before christmas.after trying to get a free return slip for four days I just paid the 50 bucks to send back something I did not order."
