"I recently booked a hotel stay in chicago on hotelsavings.com and I was happy with our experience. I read one of the articles that they posted and after finding some decent room prices decided to book my hotel through them. I can not speak for the phone support as I did not call but I did loose my email confirmation so I contacted their online customer support form, they responded back fairly quickly (same day) and resent my email confirmation. Few days before travel, I also emailed them about a question I had about the hotel and the customer service lady directed me to the information via email. Yes, I will recommend hotelsavings.com to a friend and I will book with them again."
"Warning!
This company will rip you off. I booked with this company because they advertised 50% off the regular booking cost. They did not inform me that the hotel I was booking (Bahama Bay Resort) required an $80 "cleaning and resort" fee for one night on top of what I paid to HotelSavings.com for the room. To make matters worse, I could not cancel my stay because HotelSavings.com had already charged my credit card and their charge was non-refundable. I ended up paying more than I would have had I just booked directly with the hotel."
"Terrible! Horrible! Unethical! Beware! They will rip you off and there is NO recourse for the consumer. Very poor business practices. Their policies follow the law, but it doesn't make them right. In late February I booked a room for several nights stay for a conference taking place in late June. My credit card was immediately charged the $$$ for the services not yet rendered. I guaranteed them a room sale four months in advance; and they stick it to me immediately. Typically, these charges would be considered "pending". But no, not with this third party. Plus, there is a 100% penalty fee for cancellation of the booking. Call them and ask for help you say? What you will actually get is David Rojas on the other end telling you basically "too bad, so sad". Good luck understanding David, because English is clearly his second language.
This would be equivalent to making a reservation for dinner for next week and having immediately pay for a dinner that you have not even eaten yet. Just doesn't make sense.
Shame on you hotelsavings.com and your parent company of Travelocity "
"Horrible Horrible Horrible!!! I will never use them again they booked the wrong hotel and would not refund the money!
