"Took aprox 20 days, not 7. Arrived without drivers. Bluetooth never worked. I called many times and always an excuse or ridirecting me to dead end. Now, Phone num invalid and all emails returned. They charge warranty but deny the service. They should be out of business."

"21 days not 7 to recieve the first $3800. laptop.Laptop not as ordered. they sent out the part and I was told to install it. next the laptop crashed. when I went to restore it I found that hybridgear had put in used harddrives.I sent the unit to the owner of Hybridgear. he sent me back a VERY used unit ,diffrent software .all the screws on the bottom showed wear.refused to refund my money "
"The service from this company is less than stellar. They send the laptop I ordered to the wrong address and have been unable to resolve the problem in more than 10 days now. When I e-mail, I get no response. When I call - nobody answers and when it switches to voice mail - the mail box is full. When I do talk to someone - nobody takes ownership and solves the problem - they just promise to call back - then don't. I am going to dispute the charge and refuse delivery if it ever arrives.
My recommendation is to avoid this company.
The laptop finally arrived (45 days late). I should have refused delivery. It is now 3 - 4 months since I got it and the hard drive is gone. I've tried to get an RMA # from the comapny that provides service and they do not recognize the serial number.
After numerous calls over a week long period (most to a full voice mail system that refused the call) I still do not have the info I need to get the warranty work don.
DEFINATELY AVOID THIS COMPANY.

They took my order had everything in stock and had it sent out to me within the week. so far I am very happy with my laptop have had no problems except they didnt put the drivers on for my wireless card had to down load them. "I ordered from Hybridgear after a few months of research, I found that they had the best prices for the laptop I was looking for. Called the company and placed the order, they stated it would arive in 7 to 10 days. There was not very good communication, they stated they were have email server problems, so I took it apon myself to keep bugging them, they were vigilant in testing and when a faulty equiptment was found they told me they would get a new one before shipping. I stated to go ahead and ship it they did via next day air for free. ONly thing that didant arrive was the tv tunner card, which I recieved a few days later. Overall I am very happy with the laptop and the service after the product was recieved. Although they need to work on communication they are helpfull and did what was needed to get me my product and keep me happy."
"Laptop died. Won't boot. Screen messed up. Hybrid gear is no where to be found. No phone numbers (Hybridgear Matt's or Dad's) work. No email addresses work. We're disputing the charge with our credit card company and look at small claims court options (maybe serve it to Matt's dad's address since after speaking to an their old building manager we found out they were gone so that's the only known address for them).

Update. Had to warranty for keyboard problem a while ago. Huge PITA dealing with them to pay for shipping but they finally did. ChemUSA (the company the warranty is through for labor) was great. A completely different level of service than previously when purchase. Spoke to the guy who owns hybrid gear (Matt O'byrne) dad because his number was still on the who is. Less than helpful, and Matt doesn't answer his cell phone voice mail.

They delivered a great product at a great price. There is no tech support or phone wait times, and all there technicians and support are A+ certified. There were a few problems although all were resolved. The laptop did take a long time to get here (was told the 31st, received January 12th). This was attributed to the first laptop failing there burn-in test, and a busy holiday season. Because of the late shipment, they upgraded the order to second day from ground for free. Another problem was communication. They were not proactive in communicating delays or even sending me any sort of invoice via email or included with the laptop (even after requesting an email invoice and tracking number). The closest I got was a packing slip (I plan to call them to get an invoice for tax purposes). The last glitch was they accidently made one of the chips a ddr 333 chip instead of ddr 400, I figured this out on a first boot and they overnighted me a replacement and return packing slip for free. So far everything but the invoice (which I have confidence will be easily resolved) has been resolved, and they gave me an incredible product for the price."
