"absolutely horrendous experience. ordered a TV without a stand in may.
after many emails and phone calls that were igored or answered with incorrect info or incomprehensibly, on 7/18 they delivered the stand but NOT the TV. after many more calls, they picked up the stand, and on 8/13 they delivered the TV, but the wrong model. again, after many calls, in the 2nd week in september they picked up the tv. i contacted amex and they gave me a credit. i have now made almost daily calls to determine when and if i will ever get delivery of my order. i am told that my account is being handled only by their service manager, michelle, who NEVER returns calls. she had promised me months ago that she would take care of this for me.
this is an amazing combination of innefficiency and contempt.

"hope all the comments are wrong. I ordered an expensive TV from them. Sofar they have been nice. I ordered it on Sunday and they said it will ship on Friday. I will post my results.

*UPDATE* The TV was ordered on Monday Sept 22 and was guaranteed to ship on Friday the 26. I called every single day that week to check and they said the same thing every day. It will ship. The weekend came and went and no TV was ever shipped. They cancelled the order but now I'm waiting on the credit. I've already disputed the charge with Discover which won't go into effect for 15 days after the day they said they would issue me a refund. Anyways this was a bad expierience but a good learning curve. I will always buy my stuff local from now on. I bought this TV at a REX store around where I live and I'm very happy with it. All the stories on here were very very true sadly enough. I'm a business owner outside of the St. Louis area and would not recommend this company to anyone. Thanks. P.S. I told one of the guys I talked to on the phone about this site and the comments and he said they were competitors! I don't think so! I'm a real consumer you A-Hole. We can only hope the NY State's attourney shut's these ass clowns down.

UPDATE*** took a week but they did credit my Discover.

"My order has just arrived today. I was very surprised to find that these speakers, Klipsch Quintet Microsystem, didn’t come with the KSW-10 Subwoofer as illustrated on the website. I remembered very clearly that Hypaudio's website included the KSW-10 Subwoofer as a set, and also, provided illustrations and descriptions of it. Immediately after receiving the order, I went onto Hypaudio's website to verify the information. To my surprise, the product descriptions and images were modified to not include the KSW-10 subwoofer as before. I believed this was changed due to other customer's complaint. I would have never purchased this speaker system if I knew exactly what I was getting. It seemed to me that this is clearly an unethical and misleading sales practice by Hypaudio.
Also, these speakers came without a SERIAL NO. Label. They have been removed for some reason.

"HypAudio’s web site clearly states “ALL items are Brand New, Factory Sealed. ALL items include all the manufacturer's supplied accessories and a USA warranty unless otherwise specified.“ The Samsung camcorder I received was in a battered open box with portions of the UPC labels removed. There was no warranty card of any kind inside and the user manual was well-worn with warranty details covered by a blank white label. The remote control batteries had already been installed and, best of all, the serial number and UPC code were printed a standard address label and applied to the side of the camera. Not only did it look amateurish, but applying the label right under the hand strap where sweat and friction will quickly remove the print, placed the serial number in the single worst location on the camera. Not surprisingly, when I called Samsung they informed me that the label’s appearance and location clearly demonstrated that it was not applied by the manufacturer. When I complained about this to Hyp and informed them that I wanted to return the item, they responded by simply quoting their policy of not accepting camcorder returns. Ultimately I did get an RMA number and sent the unit back at a cost of $6 and change for UPS Ground. They credited my card for the camera price, but refused to refund their $25 UPS Ground shipping fee, again citing their policy of not refunding shipping charges. Ironically both of those quotes were copied from the same page on which they assure customers that all products are brand new, factory sealed, with USA warranty, etc. Needless to say, I am disputing the unrefunded shipping fee through my credit card company. After returning the camcorder I replaced it with another from Beach Camera. Their website stated that some products may not carry a USA warranty, but when I called they assured me that was not the case with the item I wanted. I ordered the camera via Fedex Ground which was to take 10 days. The camera arrived two days after I placed the order, in a sealed new box with all conents appearing to be factory packed. There was a shrink-wrapped new manual with full USA warranty documentation inside. That is how a reputable vendor should behave. For those who may be new to online shopping, a few suggestions: 1. INSIST on conducting all communications by e-mail so that you can keep an indisputable written record of who said what when. If the vendor refuses to do this, go elsewhere. 2. Document everything. In this case I even photographed the camcorder, manual and product box before returning it. 3. This cannot be overstated: ALWAYS use a major credit card. If you pay with cash, check or money order, you’re at the vendor’s mercy if something goes wrong. Even better, find out if your credit card company has a mechanism for using secure numbers. For instance, Discover Card has a downloadable software tool that will generate a unique card number for each transaction that can be used once only. This enables you to shop online without having to give vendors your real credit card number and once a charge is placed, that number is no longer usable. Hope this helps."

" I was kinda concern about this seller because there wern't many good reviews.
I ordered a alpine stereo cda-9813 with s/h total 283, online over 300. local 430.00 Shipped the next day,with e-mail and tracking number. Got it in 5 days. IT looks new all sealed in bags with alpine logo tape. Check the "about us" page. Many, most items can't be returned. Must send to the manufacter, hypaudio dosn't have tech support. Make sure you know what you want first. Overall a good transaction saved 150.00. I would use them again if they had the best price.

"This company falsely advertises low price on the net with the knowledge that they cannot fill the order.
I wonder if they are using this as a front to collect people's credit card information--don't even look at this website!!!
It wastes people's time to submit all the personal and financial information.
I placed an order through their website, and called them later to make sure that the price is correctly advertised since it is low.
They said everything is fine but in the same afternoon they sent an e-mail saying that the order is cancelled. Not even an apology.

"Granted, I made the mistake of not finding out the shipping charges *before* ordering (this information is not listed on the site). However, when I found out that I was being billed $15 for regular, ground shipping I decided that what seemed to be a bargain was really no bargain at all. I then contacted them to cancel the order (it had yet to ship) and was told that my request was 'denied'. Do NOT do business with these people, or at the very least, be aware of these issues when you order."

"Lets Go Digital", "pricesrite.com", "dealznet.com" and "lgdsuperstore.com" are some of the ones I found. "Never buy anything from this site! I ordered a klipsch rc-3 on December 30th. I was supposedly in stock when I ordered it, but after a week I tried to call them and I never got to talk to anyone. I then emailed them and they said it would be shipped on January 13th. When I didn't get any information on it being shipped then, I called. I finally got to talk to someone who said it should ship out wihtin a few days. I was told this every week for the next 2 months! My credit card was charged on February 14th but there was never any indication that they were intending to ship my order. The last two weeks (March), I have been trying to speak with one of their managers, but I can not get a hold of anyone. I could of easily cancelled the order, but I wanted an explanation of why they charge me for an item when they have no idea when it will be in stock or be sent. Today I again asked to speak to a manager, and the salesperson said they are all busy. She said she could have one call me back and I said ok. No call, but I did receive an email a few minutes later cancelling my order. I did not tell them to cancel my order but they did anyhow. The price of the klipsch when I ordered it was 204$, but it is now 299$. I think that is the reason they won't send it to me. If I was only a lawyer I would take them to court over this false advertiselment and decpetion. Now I can only hope that my credit card is reimbursed. Never buy from them!"
