"I took a chance on IOCELL'S rebate, even after hearing they would steal the money rather than rebate it. IOCELL has a SCAM going on. I bought the IOCell NAS enclosure from NewEgg.com with the $20 rebate. I sent in all materials as specified. That was in Nov 2011. No response from this shady company as of 4/24/12. Now I'm unable to reach them via phone or fax. They are not a legitimate company. I plan to register my complaint with the BBB and the Consumer Protection Agency. Newegg.com should not carry their products. "

"I purchase IOcell network box from Frys. I mailed certified mail to them and have proof. It's 120 days over now and I did not received. I after 90 days sent my email with proof of the delivery attached to them at ****@****. But it's over 1 month now and I still don't have any response from them. At this time, I called their number 609... list on their web site but no one picked up.

Anyone know where we can file a complain? I hope we can stop these."

"It is definitely a SCAM. I purchased the same IOCell enclosure from NewEgg with the $20 rebate. I sent in all materials early directly at a San Francisco Post Office. I heard nothing and got no responses from 3 emails. Finally, after more than 3 months they responded saying that my submission was late by 9 days, even though this was totally impossible. They are deceitful and just do not want to honor their rebates. They are truly a rip-off company and you should AVOID their products, as I will do from now on. They post NO 1-800 number, the 609 number they do post will not be answered; it short, they will also ignore you. NewEgg is a really good company and shout NOT carry their products."

"I purchased IOCell USB enclosure and submitted the $18 rebate via US mail. After 30 days I have not received any email notices or mail response regarding to my rebate status. I emailed them at ****@**** and got no response. I called their corporate contact number and had no person to answer the phone. I called their technical support and left a message with no call back. It's been over 90 days now and after reading the reviews on this company I come to my senses that IOCELL Networks is a BIG SCAM on rebates. "

I bought the same 251UE HD enclosure from newegg that was free after rebate and when i did not get the rebate after 3 months and I mailed them I got a reply I could not believe :

"Rebate rejected because UPC was peeled and not cut from box"

I replied asking them to take a closer look at what I sent as I "cut" it and the UPC was anyways just a sticker on the box !

" I purchased 2 IOCell USB enclosures from JR.com. They were advertised with $20 rebate each. Mailed the rebate submittion to IOCell with USPS Certified mail and according to the tracking it was delivered Aug.31. The company either does not process rebates or just lies because online status check 5 weeks after the receipt of the submittion shows "not received". They do not respond to emails, they do not have even rebate processing department - just a single number for tech support and the guy barely speaks English. Never buy any product with IOCell rebate, you will never get your money."
