"First Off: is ISP-SECURE the same company? I believe it to be so due to the both of them dealing in dial-up ISP service and supply. The difference may be the fact that my email names both dial-up ISP service- AND - their security program = ISP-SECURE.com
On Sunday, 12/14/2009, I received this unexpected email from ISP-SECURE.com confirming my subscription. I did not ever subscribe for their services. here is the message receieved verbatim:
In a message dated 12/14/2008 4:21:49 P.M. Mountain Standard Time, ****@**** writes:
""This is a confirmation of your request for ISP-Secure.
Thank you.

Yes, I did use their supplied url to "Unsubscribe". I also went to their sit and, finding no place to unsubscribe there, called the supplied "1-888..." number which I found to be a recording, but did tell me to call backduring business hours. I also replied directly to the email received 12/14, also making my wish to unsubscribe and demand to not be billed quite clear.
As of yet, the same day the attempted fraud took place, iI have not been charged, but only as far as I know. I have not checked the billing statements of any of my 10 or so CCards for verification- YET!
I will return to this site, ReSellerratings.com, with new information as it unfolds.
In the meanwhile, please consider this "Review" to be "Highly" NEGATIVE, which any confirmation of an unwanted subscription should be considered.
In Honesty,
Ben Johnson

"Ordered dial up from ISP.com a little over a year and half ago. Very reliable, always great speeds, considering its dial-up. And customer service has been great. I've only used the email account with it a couple times, and have had no problems. (We do all of our email through earthlink), and they wanted too much for a additional dialup account (we have earthlink high speed at our home office), so this worked perfect. Reccomended."
