"I bought online a LG 4040b DVD burner at a fantastic price of $58 OEM. It took 1 week and after 5 phone calls I cannot get a status to my order, nobody has returned a single call and there is no way to leave a message for customer service. When I go online to check the status is just says "pending" for 1 week the order is pending!!!! I sent them 2 emails requesting a status update and no returned emails as well. Well, after getting a response, there was a problem with the cc but the funds were in my account, but anyway the sales mgr emailed me and re-ran the order and shipped it out today...so, I cant say I am as upset as before I heard from them it just took a while to hear from them initially. Best deal on the web for a outstanding DVD burner reviewed at TomsHardware.com. After 1 week of use , it works very well smooth and quiet. Best DVD burner out there. Fast shipping as well."
"Difficult to work with. Wanted to ship to my office instead of my apartment building, because of thefts in the area of packages. We are an online reseller as well, provided all my information that he could check that it was a valid address. I was paying directly from paypal out of my bank account, no credit card involved, which he already had the money for 3 days. Doesnt want to wor kwith the customer no matter how much information you give him to verify, would rather tell you how right he is. Way to go Max! "

"I got a fairly nice computer for a very good value. Purchased at a computer and technology show in St. Paul Minnesota that Ikon attended. They put together my PC ordered quickly (overnight). When the unit had some trouble with Windows XP HE and some spyware that turned out to be malicious customer service was very helpful (Alex). I would purchase from them again, becuase it is not only a good product but also I was raised in Cleveland Ohio and they are a local Cleveland metro business.

"After recieving a new barebones system from Ikon PC,I turned it on and noticed right away that it was running hot. A diagnostic on the machine indicated that the cpu fan was not cooling the cpu sufficiently. At the recommendation of an Ikon service technician, I upgraded the fan and heatsink to the best one Ikon had for that cpu.
The pc was still running hot. Ikon requested that I send back the pc for repair or replacement.
After they tested the pc, Ikon said that the processor had a crack in it and they expected me to pay for a new processor because the heatsink/cooling fan had been replaced (at their recommendation).
I wouldn't have had to replace heatsink/coolingfan if the cpu was not running hot.
If Ikon had tested the pc (as they were payed to do) before they sent it to me, they would have seen the problem and corrected it before they shipped it to me.
Let this be a warning to others, thinking about buying from Ikon.

"Ordering computer related equipment for more than 13 years, I have never seen a worse excuse for an organization that this. I keep it to the FACTS and let YOU decide for yourself:
- Motherboard installed on broken plastic risers.
- Missing screws not holding down mother board.
- Fan power cable pinched between case and fan.
- Memory defective on new system.
- Case power button broke.
I had to ship the power button and memory back AT MY COST for replacement and here is what I received:
- No-name branded, used, wrong speed memory. (I ordered NEW, NAME BRAND, at a certain speed.)
- A “Repaired” power button that is now more damaged than when I returned it.
In conclusion: They shipped defective, pre-owned parts and made the customer, me, pay an addition cost to fix them. I will NEVER order from them again and will stop payment if this ever happens again. (I paid to have the “new” parts repaired like an idiot since I never had this happen before.)"
