"I ordered a Ruger Gunsite Scout from Impact Guns yesterday. My Captain had tried to do a transaction with them previously and got shafted. He advised that I not use them but I could not locate the gun else where. When I ordered my gun I asked the sales rep about his experience and she assured me that they had four (4) in stock and that it would ship in 48hrs. I went ahead with the order. When I called my FFL dealer to send his info to them for the transfer, he advised me he had dealt with them before and wouldn't do it unless I prepaid for the transfer. I drove the 30 miles to his shop and paid $30 for the transfer. This this afternoon I received an e-mail stating they had made an inventory mistake and the the gun was sold on their "floor" while I was making my order. What happened to the other 3 ? Since then I've gotten over 25 junk/spam emails all relevant to guns, organ size, credit scores,ect. It's evident that they sold my e-mail address and never had the gun in stock. Just another come-on site and a good reason to buy from a reputable local dealer."

"I had the same experience with Impact Guns as other reviewers. I was assured by the internet AND personnel by phone that the product I wanted was in stock. She even "checked the computer" and told me it would be shipped immediately. One week later I was told it had been sent and I would have it within a week. A week after that I was told it was still "on back order" from their distributor!! First I had heard about this...come to find out the product was not even available through Impact Guns. So three weeks pass with me thinking I had plenty of time to get this birthday present shipped to me...all the time being LIED to by Impact Guns when I could have made other arrangements. Now...NO birthday present!!! How maddening. How I wish I had checked for all these terrible reviews on Impact Guns before I did my shopping!"

"I will not be doing business with these people again. First off, it took them 3 weeks to ship something that a customer service rep and their website said they had in stock. The website said that they wouldn't charge my credit card until they shipped the item but did a preauthorization and a charge for the item as soon as I made the order. So they kept twice the amount of my order on hold with my bank for 3 weeks. I was told every other day for 2 weeks that it would ship tomorrow and I would get an e-mail with a tracking number when it shipped. I received that e-mail 2 days after I got the package and 6 days after it shipped. Very unprofessional company!! Spend your money elsewhere."

"Not sure why there were bad reviews for Impact Guns, I recently ordered a new Glock 17 Gen.4 from them. I have nothing but rave reviews of this company, Taya went out of her way to find the gun I was looking for and get it shipped out ASAP. I ordered it on Mon. and my FFL received it on Thurs. Will most certainly will do business with them in the future..."

"Crappy service and crappy site. I ordered magizines and a scope for my hi point 9 mm carbine which showed in stock but it really wasnt, So my order was canceled cause I cant wait for them to get crap in. Now they still have my money and I havent had a penny of it returned yet. Their theives and crooks."

"I purchased an "in stock" DeSantis Nemesis holster from ImpactGuns on Feb 9, 2011. After getting no communication from them for two weeks I decided to call and inquire about the status of my order. The CS representative told me that the holster had been back ordered for weeks, but that they had just received their shipment and had processed all the orders that were waiting on that holster. Two days later, I receive an email notifying me that the holster has shipped PARCEL POST! Calculating the postage, parcel post (which takes up to two weeks to deliver) costs 40% more than Priority Mail (which delivers in 2-3 days).

Given the lack of communication, and the lack of consideration to the customer with shipping speeds, I could never recommend this company to anyone in good conscience. There are MUCH better retailers out there that you can support with your consumer dollars, and I strongly recommend that you do.

"I used to work for this company and they will give you the runarounds and hold on to your money as long as they possibly can. There computer system is terrible, the tech guy dose not maintain the website. I have seen items listed on the website as available for tow and a half years after the manufacturer discontinued them. The corporate name is shadow valley arms they wont pay attention to complaints through customer service but they will through the BBB. "

"I have still not received my PF-9 Magazine after 3+ months. My online store account says it shipped. As you study further, it shows back ordered! After chatting online with their reps, he said it was shipped. Bottom Line: I have been charged and nothing has been sent. I have sent one more email to Impact asking for resolution. I'm taking it up with my credit card and filing complaints/reviews where necessary within the week if I haven't heard anything back.

"Another victim of the "not really in stock" scam. Placed my order and everything seemed good. They charged my CC and waited for it in the mail. Never got a shipping confirm so I contacted them the next week and they said the item is out of stock. I picked CANCEL MY ORDER if items are backordered, but they did not. Beware"

"I had to make an account on this site to do some justice regarding this site. Apparently many people have been scammed just as I have by this site. They claim to have many firearms "In Stock" but in reality they do not.

I ordered a Rem700 from their site and my card was charged immediately. About a week later, after I paid my FFL and had everything ready to go, they then e-mailed me and said that the item was not in stock and that "they were having a problem with that particular listing showing that it was 'in stock'." It turns out that they do this all the time. They collect interest off the money that they charge you until they give you it back and tell you that their items are out of stock. The listing STILL says that it is "in stock".

If they had problems with their listings, they would delete it. The site is a total scam and many people can vouch for that. Plus, they refused to re-imburse my FFL fees. DO NOT USE IMPACT GUNS.

"I didn't find any reviews on this site for impactguns.com, so I wanted to share my experience. They had the lowest price for the ADCO Super Thumb magazine loading device when shipping was factored in.

I gave them a shot and I'm very happy. The ground shipping got the product to my door in four business days, and there were absolutely no problems with the ordering process. The packing was great.

I didn't have to work with customer service, so I can't comment on that.
