"I really do love this company. We own a showroom and sell cabinets, plumbing fixtures, etc. etc. Plus we do the remodeling work. Some times Improvement direct beats my suppliers when you consider the free shipping. I have never had a problem. If something was back ordered they let you know and cancel the order with no problem. Returns are easy, they send you an RMA and take the product back. I have tried several online sites for plumbing and gotten ripped off and contacted the Better Business Bureau with no sucess. I check rating now before I order. Improvement direct(also plumbing direct, lighting direct) is a great company, I have placed alot of ordered over the last year without a hitch!"
"DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!! The only thing it cares for is money in its pocket. Regrettably, its concern with your customer satisfaction is not on its priority list.
I've ordered 6 Murray Feiss lighting fixtures on October 4, 2009 via telephone. At the time of placing the order, their sales representative told me that all the items were in stock and that I was supposed to surely receive them in accordance with the company's policy dealing with shipments to Canada (I am from Richmond Hill, Ontario). The same sales rep told me that I was supposed to also receive e-mail notifications as soon as the items will ship, in order for me to be kept up to date with the order as well as to be able to track the parcels. I've waited until this morning (October 26, 2009) for some info to come about in regard to my shipment but to no avail. So, I decided to call Improvement Direct and find out what's happening!!! To my surprise, the sales rep I spoke to this time said that my order never shipped because 5 of the 6 lighting fixtures I've ordered are not in stock and they will NEVER be in stock. Why? Well, because apparently the manufacturer (Murray Feiss) discontinued the 5 items and has no more stock available.
I asked the sales rep why was I not informed of this situation when I placed the order or at any time during this over-three-weeks wait. She said that there was a human error involved in my order and that, somehow, my order appeared in their records as being dealt with in a professional and fine manner (that is... the items were in stock and were going to be shipped to me).
In the end I cancelled the order today but, to add to my unhappiness, I just realized that at the time I placed the order (paying with a CAD VISA for lighting fixtures priced in USD) the USD/CAD exchange rate was 1.1 whereas now it is 1.05 ... aspect which is going to cause me a CAD $80.00 loss. And for what? For losing my time waiting to receive NOTHING... not to mention that I needed the fixtures to install in a home which I want to sell soon.
So, STAY AWAY!!! YOU DEFINITELY HAVE SOMETHING BETTER TO DO WITH YOUR TIME AND MONEY.
A very disappointed customer.

"I am extremely dissappointed with Morehome.com. My wife located a bed on their website at a very good price. She called to confirm that the bed was listed correctly, and they confirmed that it was and that it was also a very good price. We ordered it, and it shipped. 2.5 weeks later, we receive the "bed" and it is just one part. They did not send the full bed. They do not even list this bed in separate parts, so there is no way I could have ordered just 1 part. Their CSR confirmed on the phone to me that the price was too good, so they just sent part of the bed and no one called to confirm or ask me what I wanted to do. Now the only way I can get the parts I need is by placing a new order for several hundred dollars more. I am just taking a return/refund, but they wasted a lot of my time waiting on the bed, expecting it, and taking down my sons convertible crib to convert it for our new baby expected in 6 weeks.
As a side note, their CSR Ben was very nice and apologetic, but I wish they would have just caught their mistake in the beginning and not have wasted all of my time."
"Would not recommend this vendor. Order placed 2 months ago and was assured the two items were in stock and ready for shipping. One month later, they still had not shipped. Initially, I was provided with a telephone number for the shipping as it was obviously my responsibility to track things down. The voicemail box for shipping inquiries was always full and unable to take messages. Finally, I was assured by improvementdirect.com that the order shipped and would be received by a certain date. It arrived 4 days late after the new promised date.
However, only one of the items shipped. It then took a week to hear back from Customer Service that the second item would be received by yesterday. I'm still waiting...
Improvementdirect.com should look to its name and direct some of that improvement into the way they do business."
