"I ordered 2 items March 29. One of the two items arrived six weeks later with writing in permanent marker. It was unusable. The other item never arrived.
I’ve been trying to get a refund for 3 weeks now with no luck.

Right after placing order with them I called customer service to making sure that fabric quality and style as seen on website, and answer was picture perfect original saree according to them. it was a big lie. In between while waiting for my order I ordered few more sarees from them. after receiving first saree, I had called them and mention the quality and style and ask them to cancel my second order. I was told to email them which I did. it's been few days haven't heard from them. My friend also had same experience with this website.
I will not recommend this website to anyone. They are not honest. Review is not about getting refund from them. Alert !!!!!! warning to all prospective buyers.

"Recently, had a bad experience with the service provided by Indianweddingsaree.com. I had ordered a pre-stitched saree outfit. On receiving it, I noticed the measurements were completely off from what I had requested. Bad quality control before dispatch. On reaching out to the complaints department, they gave me to understand that they were unable to replace this ‘defective’ outfit as the product was out of stock. So understandably, I was willing to work with them and gave them the option for a partial refund so that I could purchase a blouse to match the saree skirt ( which was off too by the measurements) . However, as a long time customer, I was willing to work with them to save the hassle on both sides of a return/refund. After many back and forth emails and much haggling they agreed on the partial refund only to go back on their word suddenly after 10 days stating they offer no refunds! This came after they initially agreed on it. This turn of event occurred after 10 days of wasting my time with back and forth emails with them. Very frustrating.
Please DO NOT trust this company. I have been a loyal customer initially -no more. They DO NOT value loyalty. Also , their product quality is not up to standard. Their customer service /complaints department is not up to standard. They go back on their word and this is not good business practice. Buyer Beware. Their post sales service is poor and not trustworthy what they agree on.

"Ordered $500 worth wedding outfits using their very specific size guides and rules. Ended up with 100 emails about why the clothes are late to arrival and “oh they don’t fit you? Too bad”. I can send them back for resizing. But now it’s past the point of no return and I wouldn’t have them for the wedding. And guess what? Four phone calls and 15 emails later? Their BS you around and refuse to refund you. I’m out $500 and have a bunch of junk clothing that are 3x too big and I feel very angry and ripped off. Total scam.
I’m sure they’ll have some great reason why they won’t refund. I was told I measured wrong so it’s my problem. Well I’m just not used to zero refund policies and that’s exactly what they are. Scammers. "
"Their return policy is company centric having no consideration for the customer.Their only motto is "you ordered, we delivered" even if it's crap. They kept my money and caused a huge mess when asked to initiate return. It has been a very poor experience ordering goods from Indianweddingsaree.com.

"Ordered wedding legenga. I asked stitching services but the lehenga sent to me was not made as per measurements. It was too big and too long. It was 3 inches longer than requested. I took a picture of lehenga measurements using measuring tape and sent it but they simply refused to accept that the sizing was wrong. They said I should fix locally as they were not at fault and never responded back. They ignored my concerns regarding quality of the product. "
"This time I had so much stress as my order was roaming, customer service was incompetent asking me to collect from the delivery hub . After lot of phone calls I finally got the items which are kachra , the size tags are cut off I don’t know why . Material seems like a rough paper and small in size

"I spoke with a sales guy - Rahul Choudhary (Merchandiser / Designer) in August and he promised his BEST service. Well just before we ordered 4 outfits for a wedding we will be attending on Nov 8,2021. We were assured everything was fine. (famous promise "befikar raho") again from Rakesh.
Then we get an email saying the outfit my daughter ordered could not be made as the length of the kurta and sleeves would be shorter. OK. So I call their "24 hr line" - complete nonsense! No one answers - you can try before you order.
Finally, called Rahul late at night (PST) and he was "oh yes, we can make it but the sleeves and length will be shorter. When I asked why they could not make it to the specs on THEIR website, I was told the manufacturers only send them material of a certain length! WHy advertise then?
Ok so my daughter selects another outfit. Rahul says "Ha yeh ban sakta hai"( Yes, this can be made)
I send him a written request - no answer! Daytime call Pradeep send me a confirmation but I get an email from their production - Preeti saying order could not be completed - Rahul had MADE NO CHANGES!
Now we are running out of time, finally Rahul throws his hands up and says "I dont want to upset you, you can cancel this order" REALLY! Needless to say I reminded him that HE caused the problem in timing because he never got back to me. Even the second item was a "problem"! Finally he suggested we buy something that was ready to ship... OK, they WERE THE EXACT SAME ITEM in another colour! When I confronted him he said he'd speak to Preeti Madam and get back! Eventually agreed and order was changed. Now were are chasing the clock.
Look at my order - two outfits out of 3 that were NOT an "issue" were shipped and we received them. One of the items that wasn't a problem is now scheduled to arrive AFTER the one that they had a "problem" with.
I wanted to be as detailed as possible in what happened. In short - do not believe a single word they tell you! Insist on an email confirmation (Rahul NEVER sent a confirmation). If you get this guy on the phone - do yourself a favour and ask for someone else. Sadly, he is one of those lazy guys who does little and promises a lot.
In terms of fit - ladies, they do not have "darts" on the back or bust. Size was tight and we had to alter.
Now, I will wait and watch when the two items arrive and update my comments!
Look at their response to poor comments - just a standard cut and paste on EVERY comment on their poor service!

Order placed on 1st of March was supposed to be delivered by 21st of March just a week prior to that they say that the blouse you have selected cannot be stitched so decided to stitch accordingly. Just a week away from my wedding the dress was delivered and it came in a tiny cramped box and it was so smelly and damp had to get it dry cleaned and it costed me £150. They had offered me a partial refund only. Never order from them it will be a regret for life especially on special occasions."

I purchased sarees advertised as silk, for nuno felting you use very light silk, low momme and it is much cheaper than heavy silk so at prices between 8 and 16 dollars I had very reasonable right to expect the silk they advertised, unfortunately they sold me polyester not silk. I do not support the production of world polluting polyester and now they are being very difficult refusing to refund my money even though the parcel is ready for their courier. "
