"I've placed probably 20 orders with IndieGala over the last year. Primarily they sell downloadable games for pc, mac, linux both individually and in bundles. Often times the games come with Steam or Desura keys allowing you to tie the license to a single free account that acts as an inventory of your games and even backup for some. (See SteamPowered.com).
They sell bundles that split the profits amongst themselves, the developers and charities. Best of all, IndieGala bundles let you set the price. Often you need to pay over $1 to get the Steam or Desura keys. Further, you get to choose how the price you set gets split. There other such sites out there including HumbleBundle. There are also for profit sites like GreenManGaming, GamersGate, Steam, & more who also act as middlemen selling keys to games.
The main reason, however that I'm writing this review is for their excellent support. I sent a question to them and I got a personal email back within 15 minutes. I asked another question and that reply came within 20 minutes. The answers were helpful and exact. I couldn't be more pleased with the site. Plus it exposes so many people to excellent Indie games allowing them to break out w/o the funding of the $100M games. To summarize:
1. Great / fast / helpful customer service
2. Sell awesome Indie & mainstream games at extremely competitive prices
3. Have bundles where you can set the price and split that price amongst developers, charities, & the site
4. Many of the games come DRM-free, have pc, linux, & mac support and also optionally have Steam keys for those with a free account on SteamPowered.com
5. Great options for "gifting" games to friends.
6. Often include game soundtracks
7. Raise money for charities
8. Expose the world to many world class Indie games that might otherwise be missed."
