"I bought a canon 100-400 4.6-5.6 mark ii from E-infintiy in January of this year. After a few weeks I could see dust in the lens. I sent it back which cost €40 they said it was fixed. I used it a few times I had dust in it again. I contacted them again they told me that lenses get dust in them which I agree with but not this much or this soon. I have the mark 1 of the same lens for ten years and it has not got that much dust in it. I ask a canon dealer and repair agent in Ireland to look at it but they will not because it's a grey market lens. But he did say if I bought it here canon would have replaced a Lens with this kind of problem as it's a fault in the sealed part of the lens.
I have been trying to contact infinity by email ask to replace the faulty Len but as of yet I have no response. "
"Ordered a Panasonic Lumix GX vario lens 45-175 mm from these people. Estimated dispatch time 4 - 7 working days. I received the acknowledgement, then waited, and waited.............. Nothing.
After the time was up, I emailed to cancel. I admit that they returned the money promptly, but suspect that they operate some sort of scam, and advertise a product that they don't have and will never have in stock uber-cheaply, so that they have the use of your money for a few weeks.
Never again."
"If you choose to do business with this company, you WILL be sorry. I wish I would have checked their reviews before I chose to spend $3000 with them. They charge you for items you didn't agree to pay for, don't send items you ordered, ignore e-mails and refuse requests for return authorizations even when called then day you recieve the product. Roy(ext 772) is possibly the most rude customer service representative I've ever worked with. I have disputed the charge with my credit card company and filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and contacted my attorney. They also do business as Best Priced Cameras and Enterprise Photo."
"this has to be the worse company I have ever tried to do business with. I
Cannot understand how they stay in business with their unscrupulous tactics.
I ordered a Canon EOS Rebel XTI Camera package from their website at a
Price of $449.00. It included the camera, one lens (18-55) 1GB Memory Card
Card Reader LCD Screen protectors, Lens Cleaning Kit, Camera Case, Table
Tripod, Full size tripod, Lens Pouch, Cap Keeper and Wrist Strap. It even
Included
A free MP4 Player!!! All of this was listed on the website so I copied and
Printed it for reference.
The next night I receive a call from Victor (ext. 202) who tells me that I
Must
Purchase a battery for the camera in order to use the camera and did I want
The 2 hour battery or the 5 hour battery He recommended the 5 hour battery
For $168.00. I told him I did not want his battery. And he said OK but the
Camera
Will not work without it. (I felt he was trying to upsell me with this
Offer) Most all
Cameras come with a battery included. Then he told me that there would be
A
Shipping and handling charge and I told him the shipping was listed as free
On
The website. He said they could not ship and handle the camera for free and
Make
Any money and that I would need to pay a shipping charge.
After I hung up I became more and more aggravated and convinced that I had
Just been duped by some slick New Yorker.
(They already have a terrible reputation for this practice). So I called
Back to ask to cancel my order. Customer service put me on hold and I
Held for 20 minutes before I spoke with Chris, gave him my order
Number and told him that I wanted to cancel my order he put me on hold again
And it was another 20 minutes before he came back and he told me that it
Had been done. I ask him for a conformation number and he said I did not
Need one that it had been taken care of. This was on December 5, 2007.
On December 15, UPS delivered a Camera with a charger and battery and
Standard disk and manual and warranty which could be questionable and a
Sales slip for $629.99. I called
My credit card company and told them to dispute the charge (all of it). I
Will see if I can
Aggravate them as much as they have me. Someone needs to do a class
Action suit
Against this fraudulent company. I cannot believe there are so many
Complaints about
This company for the same thing over and over. "
"I would love to have an invoice but never received one. I'm the victim of the same old story - saw a great price for a camera, in a great combo package. Ordered it online - never received a confirmation email. Two or three days later I receive a phone call - at work in the middle of a time-critical project. You need this, you need that. The lens you asked for isn't a Nikkor (yes it was). Same story on the "high speed card." Since we are changing everything else can I change the camera body? Sure, but the price never seemed to be close to what I remember was on the website. OK, I bit the bullet, paid a bit more (a big bit!) and it was shipped out. UPS tried to deliver, we work so nobody home. I called to just pick it up myself. Sorry, can't do that. The retailer has put a restriction that it can only be delivered to the delivery address and signed for there. I needed to call the company to get them to change this. Well, website doesn't work, no phone number to call. In the midst of looking for a way to contact the company, I run across this website and find out how this company, under various names, has been ripping off folks for years. A little late but hopefully not too late. UPS - just ship it back. And thank you, American Express. I've learned my lesson (again) to question deals too good to be true, because they probably are."
"When I easily won this Nikon D80 package on ebay from Digital Corp (a.k.a Infinity Cameras), it seemed like a great deal at roughly $1600 for the camera plus a lot of extras. Upon winning and paying through paypal, I called the company to "confirm my order", only to be told that the charger and rechargeable battery would cost extra (despite the auction stating otherwise) and were not included. I said no thank you, and the salesperson became really rude and then said, "This item is on backorder and will take 3 weeks to ship. Goodbye." And hung up on me. Later, when I called back, I said I wanted to take the battery + charger offer, and suddenly the item could be shipped overnight and received within a couple of days. The "backorder" comment was to punish the customer for not buying into additional items. I was told upfront that if I bought into the battery offer, that my item would get past the border via courrier and would be on my doorstep immediately, otherwise it could take a long time. This is fraudulent busniess practice.
They also tried to sell me an additional Canadian warranty (since I am not eligible for the U.S one) at a price of $250 more, but I said absolutely not. I have since called Nikon Canada and the the 2 year optional warranty is under $200 CDN.
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! The prices of their camera kits seem too good to be true and they ARE. It will end up costing you 20-25% more due to fees that are undisclosed at the time of your order! And if you don't accept these additional fees they will not deliver your item in a polite or timely manner!"
"I ordered a Fujifilm Finepix S9100 at a great price from BestPriceCameras.com.
I rcvd this e-mail from ****@****:Thank you for your recent order with us. The product you selected is currently on a 6- 8 week backorder. You card has not been charged and your order has been placed on the backorder list. As soon as it is available we will notify via email.
Thank you,
Ken
Later that morning, I got a call from J&K Camera ***-***-****) wanting the last 3 digits on the back of my husband's credit card. I asked why & they said it was to process my order. I asked if the camera was off backorder & he stated it never was backordered & that he had spoke with my husband on the phone & that my husband had placed the order over the phone. I asked if he was with Best Price Cameras, & he rudely said, "You tried to order this camera from another company?", like he was betrayed. I asked him for a # to call him back, I said I would speak to my husband & if all was legit, I would call back with the last 3 digits. I asked if he had our e-mail address, & he said yes. I asked him to e-mail a # to us and he said he would; he never did. I called my husband & he never talked to anyone on the phone. We found this website (Thank God!) & found that they (Best Price Cameras and J&K Camera) are crooked. I e-mailed them to cancel my order and have heard nothing. I called & cxld the credit card used to place this order. So far, no funny charges have shown up, & we are lucky to walk away a little smarter. I reported them to the BBB, and anyone that has had a similar experience should do the same. I tried calling the phone # that showed up on caller ID & it rings fast busy. I tried to reach them by calling the toll-free #’s listed on their website and it is impossible to get someone. They transfer you again & again & place you on hold & then disconnect you. "
"this is best price cameras in discuise,do i need to say any more."
"I agree with the prior posters. To say that this company's business practices are underhanded, is an understatement. They sent me the wrong order, I returned it....and they still kept a 10% restocking fee. On a $2500 order, this is significant money. They will not return phone calls. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!...or the many aliases they use on the net. "
"After ordering a camera it took them 13 days to inform me it was backordered and then the price was raised over $100. I had to contact them before they even let me know I wouldn't be receiving my order and I am positive it was not backordered at the time I ordered because I placed my order minutes after they updated their site. Very unprofessional and dishonest. Now reading other reviews I'm glad I didn't receive my order.

"Quoted one price on the phone, charged almost twice that when order arrived. When contacted , the salesman hung up without explanation."
"STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!
I ordered a canon digital camera from this site because they did have very good prices. The first tip off was that I had to "call" to confirm my order after placing an online order. No reputable company would make you do this. Okay, so I called to confirm, the customer service guy was the rudest person I have ever talked to, kept trying to get me to buy other stuff. Then he told me unless I bought a 3 year warrenty I would have to wait for my camera for 5-6 weeks??? What is that about? So I said fine, I didn't need it right away anyways. I waited more than 2 months and NEVER heard anything else from them. I finally called an they said that it was on backorder so they just cancelled my order without even notifying me. I tried to contact customer service, but was greeted with the same rudeness and no resolution. THis is a horrible company who shouldnt' be doing business!!!"
"I searched for the best price on a camcorder and finally ordered from bestpricecameras.com I ordered the Panasonic PV-GS400 camera. The sales guy calls (my caller ID showed J & K camera) and trys to sell me a battery telling me that it does not come with a battery. I told him to just send me the package from the manufacturer. I knew better. After doing research on J & K Camera, I found they were infinityphoto. After reading reviews in this forum about infinity and after the LIE that the sales clerk told, I began to worry about the purchase. I decided to call and cancel my orders. I had also placed an order for a Nikon VR lens. I have been told that both orders were canceled. Hope this is the end of this! Make sure when you order that you order from a company that you can trust. Peace of mind to me is worth a couple hundred extra. I have since reordered the equipment from another company. "
"After finding the lowest price for the Panasonic PV-GS150 video camcorder, I ordered the camera & proceeded to wait 9 days without any signs of my camera or email confirmation from Infiniti Photo DBA BestPriceCameras.com stating that it had been sent. I emailed them asking if my order had been sent yet & the next day I got a phone call from the company trying to sell me a $150 battery for my camera. After being told that the camera came with a one-time use only "18 minute" battery, I proceeded to tell the sales rep that I wasn't interested & I just wanted him to send me the camera. He continued to try to sell me the extra battery & would not take no for an answer until I finally told him to cancel the order in which he immediately told me my order was cancelled & hung up on me. Clearly, after realizing that I wasn't going to spend an additional money, he actually was trying to get me to cancel the order. When they say a price is too good to be true...it probably is."
"RE: InfinitiPhoto Scam
HI users
I have the same experience from infinitiphone, do not buy anything from them. i ordered a sony dvd403 camorder, and they sent me a email saying that i need to call them, and they told me that it was out of stock, need 2 more weeks.
i ordered the camorder on Oct 3, i called today (Nov 1). The man told me i have to wait 12 to 16 weeks and he told me you waited for 4 weeks already why dont you wait more.
So i cancel the order, and i told him i am going to BBB to complain, he treatened me to charge cancelation fee, but if i dont complain to BBB, he will wavie it. i am going to call my cc company make sure nothing charge on my card by them, then i go to BBB, if you have same happened please complain.
I did some research, but I am not sure is reliable, but this seems like their address and other company information..link below
