"I'm very happy with the products I buy from Instawares, but not happy with UPS, because my boxes are damaged and sometimes the product is damaged. With the high cost of shipping, you would think they would handle better!"

"I placed my order by phone because there was a question about the availability of the Mason Country Fair mugs I was ordering. Michael helped me and he was completely honest about the timing of the delivery of the glasses that I was ordering for a wedding. Not only did they arrive much earlier than expected but they were packed really well. I discovered Instawares in my search for the mugs. Great pricing, great service, and great shipping rates. I will shop here again"

"I got to instawares on the web looking for an Epson workforce 40 printer. Instawares was advertising the printer at the cheapest price and that should have been a red flag. When I clicked on the printer to go to checkout I failed to notice that the printer that came up was the workforce 30, an earlier model. It was a few dollars cheaper. When the printer arrived I saw the mistake I made and returned it.Then I went to the web and checked the printer on instawares website again. I clicked on the workforce 40 only to have the workforce 30 show up. In fact I could not find the workforce 40 printer anywhere on their site. This is a classic bait and switch.

"I was VERY hesitant to order from this company because of the poor reviews and now I know why. I took a chance and got burned. I order some charger plates for my daughters wedding reception and they said in stock. 2 weeks later I call because I hadn't heard anything from them. They informed me they were out of stock, coming from china some time in May..2 months later, maybe ! NO email, no nothing to explain that to me. I cancelled my order. Let's see if I get my refund ?? Questionable !"

"I ordered four coat trees. I put three together successfully, but the third wobbled and was defective. Instawares repeatedly put me off and delayed me in finding a solution. They were convinced it had to be the screw. After I finally had time to try with the screw they sent, and it didn't work, they told me that I was now outside of the window for them to help me, as my order was too far in the past. I have had a defective coat tree for over a year now, wasting space, and it's infuriating that they refuse to help me. I manage an office, and frequently interact with customer service of various companies - but my experience with Instawares has been the worst.

Update: After posting this review, I was offered help. At this point, I am already being helped by the manufacturer, who has stood behind their product and been exceedingly helpful from the start. Instawares offered a deal on future orders with them to repay me for my trouble. Though - on principle, I will not order from them in the future if there is any alternative. The time to help me was initially, and I have no patience for people who waste my time.

"I am a first time customer for instaware.. my order was for 14 inch trays and lids. Because the description was vague and to ensure that I was getting the right thing I called customer service. The represenative that I spoke with assured me that the lids that I was ordering was 2 1/2 inches in height. This was not the case. In a time where service is very important and should be top notch, I feel that I was lied to as a means to just make a sale. My order arrived quickly but what difference does that make when you do not get what you ordered. I am not happy! "

"I ordered a small round tablecloth and was charged $8.95 for standard shipping, which I thought was excessive.

Instawares didn't fill and ship my order for 7 days!!!

Needless to say, eventhough I ordered it on 12/14/11 it wasnn't delivered until 12/27/11, too late to be a Christmas gift.

Next time I'll order from another source.

"I placed an order over a month ago and it still has not shipped. There weren't any follow-up communications indicating a backorder on the product I ordered. After continual follow-ups and different information each time, the new ship date is mid-December. While I am aware that backorder situations occur, I was most upset that it was not communicated to me. However, today to my surprise, I did receive a call from a supervisor regarding my order. He apologized and was genuinely upset regarding the circumstances of my order. He personally guaranteed to follow up until the order was delivered. I feel reassured that Instawares is a reputable company who prides itself on a good customer experience."

"Called repeatedly over several days trying to get pricing for a refrigerator (reps name was Mike) with optional door locks. Stated that I was ready to buy and wanted to get my order placed as quickly as possible on two occasions and was told they would call right back as soon as they called the manufacturer to verify pricing..here I am a day and a half after my second request and still no call back. Other retailers were able to quote the price without calling the manufacturer in about 45 seconds. If I can't get a call from them while trying to buy a $2000.00 refrigerator what would happen if I had a problem after they had my money?
Purchased today from another retailer and saved hundred bucks.
I don't understand people who do business this way.
I did have good response and follow up from a person named Ed last fall...can't seem to get in touch with him anymore though...maybe no longer there..

"An automatic soap dispenser was ordered for $92.28 (including sales tax but shipping was free) from Instawares' web site. The Item page said IN STOCK and ships in 1 to 2 days. Shipping page said arrival time 3 to 5 days. According to the UPS tracking page Instawares shipped the item on the day that it was ordered and it arrived 4 days later. Excellent service from Instawares.

Update 1/31/2011:

My Product Review(s):

(1) Palmer Fixture model SE800-SS electronic touchless bulk/cartridge soap dispenser: This is a beautiful commercial duty stainless steel soap dispenser. This will replace our cheap plastic auto soap dispenser. You can tell by its weight and build quality that this thing is meant to last. Very pleased with this.

(2) Mercer Tool 4 piece chef's carving set (Genesis):
This is an excellent professional quality carving set. It is forged (not stamped) from German steel. The knife is perfectly balanced and is razor sharp. It cuts like a dream. This is my first set of professional quality kitchen utensils. It won't be my last set from Mercer Tool. I am very impressed with Mercer Tool's quality. Instawares offers this set at an unbelievable price.

"I read the reviews of Instawares here *after* I'd ordered, so I was a little concerned... but everything went perfectly smoothly. Price was good, shipping was prompt, and I got exactly what I ordered.

Granted, my order was small and simple (11" frying pan and 4.5 qt saucepan, both from the same manufacturer), so there wasn't much they could mess up... but based on my experience, I'd order more cookware from them in the future, definitely.

As a side note, it did look like my order was drop-shipped from the manufacturer. But I don't have a problem with that.
