Looks like these morons are either scammers or totally incompetent so I'll continue my search for the item elsewhere- unfortunately, no one seems to have it available. "
"We ordered an important gift for our daughter. They charged our card but did not ship. We tried to communicate via Amazons email to sellers, but they did not respond. Twice.
Christmas in our family is damaged due to them. Watch out! They still have the item listed as in stock on their website. I do not believe them."

"I got a little worried after I received my tracking information for a guitar I purchased on Amazon (third party seller Instrument Pro) and it was scheduled to arrive a thousand miles away from where it was supposed to go. I tried e-mailing them a couple of times during the delivery process but did not get a response. I read the reviews on here during that time and was in a panic...even more so when someone signed for the package.
Long story short, I did get a hold of Instrument Pro, they sent me the wrong tracking number and hadn't mailed me my guitar yet. They immediately sent it to me overnight and I got a Saturday delivery. So, despite the scare and the delay, everything turned out alright."
"oh, how i wish i had found this website before i ordered. I ordered in early Dec. for a xmas present. I used this company because they were on my employeemall, so i made the mistake of thinking they must be reputable. I received a call the day after ordering asking me to call them back (no other detail). I called and got voice mail. This happened continuously with no return calls from them. I emailed, no return emails. Finally, 2 days before xmas, I went onto their website and cancelled the order and submitted a complaint to their cust. svc. dept. I received an email THEN telling me my bass guitar had been on back order and they had been slammed. Well, i needed that xmas present and went locally to buy it. Then, 2 wks AFTER i cancelled this order - they billed my credit card for an order i cancelled & never even sent the merchandise! SOSOSOSOSOSOS disappointed and just plain angry!"
"OMg! I'm so tired fighting with these jerks! I was waiting for the refund of $1099for the cancelled order for 3 weeks already, contacted them and amazon.com (because the item was purchased from Instrumentpro on amazon.com) more than 20 times already. I don't belive that I'm going to get it back((( Stay away from this "business", if you don't want to get robbed((("
"So I bought a Casio digital piano from InstrumentPro.com. I researched for the best price online and B&M. A quick call to them and they were able to offer the lowest price to me shipped to my door, and straight from the manufacturer no less. So 5 stars for that!
But the whole process after placing my order was the frustrating part. Like other reviewers have mentioned, there is almost zero customer service after initial order. After the confirmation email of my order, I never received communication from any party for over a week. I was supposed to receive a call from the shipper/manufacturer within 5 business days after my order for a tracking number. Never got it. Called InstrumentPro and talked to Carlos (same person I placed order with). He was surprised I didn't receive tracking number. He'll follow up and get back to me. Nothing for a few days so I called him back. He sounds surprised again and says he'll contact them again, but with Thanksgiving holiday may be delayed. Still nothing. Waited until 3 days after the holiday and called Carlos again. Still surprised. He'll check again. Called me back same day. Package shipped out a week ago and is scheduled to be delivery tomorrow. Yikes! A couple hours after I get off phone with him, I received tracking number email from InstrumentPro that my item just shipped. Too funny! I took delivery of the piano the next day from FedEx Freight. It arrived brand new in a factory-sealed huge box on a pallet straight from the manufacturer.
So in conclusion, I don't think they are a scam...just very short-staffed (or single staffed?). They don't have the whole order processing down. People expect instant confirmation and order updates nowadays for online orders. They lack in this department. All in all, I got my piano 3 weeks after ordering at a great price so in the end I'm happy. If you can tolerate sub-par customer service, you will definitely save money with them."
"Absolute worst online music store, DO NOT buy from them! I waited over a month for my order, and finally contacted them to inquire... it took me 3 hours just to get someone on the phone, I think it was a 16 year old kid, who told me that the item is on back order and will be shipped in 3 weeks. This buisness is probably run by a couple teenagers out of their Mom's garage."
"Received the order confirmation by email, which also stated that an email would follow with tracking information when the item shipped. After not receiving tracking info or the item ten days later, I called and was told the item would ship "TODAY". I received an email confirming this, but again no tracking information. Repeated attempts to contact again failed and messages were not returned. After three weeks, I used their online form to cancel my order and demand a refund and also left a message informing them of my decision. No refund was received, but nearly a month after my order was to have shipped, the item showed up. It was not new, as it had been described, and was not in factory packaging. The shipping date on the package showed it shipped a week AFTER I'd CANCELLED the order. The price was right, but it's not worth it. Do not bother with InstrumentPro.com"
"I ordered a pair of headphones here. I was told they would ship almost two months later. I couldn't wait that long so I called repeatedly to cancel my order. No one ever picked up - just voicemail. Not a single voicemail was returned. Finally I got someone one the line and they told me I had to fill out a cancellation form. I did, but no one ever responded, and a week later I got an email saying that my headphones had already shipped, more than a month earlier than expected. I played the customer service game again and finally spoke to someone who rudely told me that I was not eligible for a return. Nor did they have any record of my cancellation. When I asked why none of my phone calls were returned, the guy basically said they were busy, and that was it. If you're running a business on this scale, shouldn't you have enough customer service agents to support the volume of sales you're doing? Very unprofessional - I would neither recommend this merchant nor do business with them in the future."
"Horrible customer service and I've yet to receive my product after 45 days of "backorder" status. I've called to ask what was going on with the dean guitar I ordered... no one picked up during business hours which is odd enough, so i left a message and i did not receive a call back for 2 weeks. When they did call back my roommate picked up the phone and the rep sounded like he was on drugs. My roommate could barely understand him so he asked who was calling- the rep refused to say and said "listen you're the one who called us so put BLANK BLANK on the phone or I'm hanging up!" My roommate gave the phone to my girlfriend since i was in the yard and she was treated rudely as well. They told her that the order was still waiting to be filled? after 40 days and they told me 30 after 2 weeks of me thinking my guitar was on it's way. I had to call them to find out it was on backorder. The guy i talked to wasnt as rude but he was clearly uneducated and uncaring. This place is to be avoided I'm calling to cancel my order asap. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!!!!!! THEY ARE SHADY!!!"
"I have ordered from Instrument Pro off and on since about 2008. The music gear that I ordered includes an 8 space Rack, my Gibraltar drum stands, a couple Moog Moogerfoogers and a Moog expression pedal. Every item was drop shipped from the manufacturer and I received every item I ordered. The average time it took to receive my orders was about 3 weeks or so. Which if you need something ASAP would not work. The expression pedal from Moog took the longest but was ordered the same time as one of the Moogerfoogers that Moog shipped. I got it a month after I ordered it. I was not in a rush to get it so I was not upset. The price combined with coupons is great. I DO NOT think instrument Pro is a scam. I found out about Instrument Pro by being an ASCAP member. Instrument Pro is listed with ASCAP as one of the retailers we can get a discount through for being an ASCAP member. I doubt ASCAP would have associations with a company if it was a scam as some of the reviewers have stated here. I would say that I agree that Instrument Pro should communicate by sending e-mails with tracking #s or an update to the status for every order. I looked through my past e-mails going back to 2010 and saw only 1 tracking number given for a drop shipped Item.

I ordered once, waited , waited, called never got anyone. Finally started emailing to cancel. Carlos called. I ordered a banjo and he tried to sell me drums saying that the banjo isnt in stock at the time. Was cancelled and my credit card refunded. Gave benefit of doubt that the banjo was really out of stock , reordered again months later. Received the same email..will be dropped shipped from the manufacturer. Waited and waited. Then I asked in email. Carlos, the only worker there is unreachable until very late evening, sent email stating shipped. Days later nothing. All I got was scammed, emailed rudely which I too sent to AAFes and bbb in CA. Carlos is a one man show, very rude, NOTHING BUT A SCAM!!!!!"
"Took over a month for them to tell me the item (that i was promised would ship out the next day) was actually on backorder, not in stock. Also, it would be 4-5 days before they could refund my PayPal payment. Also had to ASK for a receipt to be mailed to me. Hard to get anyone on the phone, even at 2pm on a Thursday. This place is a scam. Avoid."
