"These guys are totally scam! I called twice making sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. I’ve had a pool for 26 years. I specifically stated I wanted a 19” 150lb sand filter with a 1 1/2 hp motor. My sales man was Jerrad, I took notes, my son was sitting right beside me listening to the whole conversation. When the pool arrived it was all bundled so tight together and my old pool was not down so there was no way I was going to unbox everything just to take a chance to get it lost. When I did I found out that they sent a 16” 100lb sand filter so I called immediately and no one would talk to me. I was told I needed to email customer support. That was a waste. They insist that’s what I ordered which is absolutely not true. They refuse to exchange it. Say they don’t even have that size, which is a lie.
All this company is worried about is getting the sale and getting your money! Do not think for a minute they will stand behind anything they send out or sell."
"in violation of Florida State law and Federal interstate commerce laws, this company sell pool packages that they say they warranty. Truth be known they refuse to replace, warranty or repair defective new parts or packages and rely upon the original equipment manufacturer to stonewall any claims.
we paid over $5000 for a pool package. The liner was manufactured by SWIMLINE and was not bonded at where two seems meet.
this company referred us to the manufacturer who refused to send a replacement liner. National pool admit they had new liners in stock and refused to send a liner capable of retaining pool water. We offered to repair the liner they denied that. we asked for a liner refund - they refused that. Their technical support section are no experts either.
We have had to buy a replacement new liner online from another vendor just to get the pool up and running. We are out $500 on the liner and a further $150 dollars for a pool ladder to replace the pool ladder that they provided that had no hardware.
Shipping of the pool from Florida to Tennessee took 6 days. The emails and refusal for National pool and its associated companies "I POOL GROUP" amongst them took many days before we had to make the decision to take litigant action with the Florida state Attorney general consumer protection division.
STAY WELL AWAY FROM THESE SCAM ARTISTS."
"Several of our panels were damaged. They didn’t send enough materials and that delayed install. They were quick to send the missing pieces though. The screw in the pool light they sent us rusted out in one summer. They could not help to figure out what type of screw we should use for replacement. This is the second summer and our liner already has tiny tears across the top. Will not be purchasing any replacements from them! "
Buyer beware!!
Customer service is the worst I have ever seen. They don't answer phone, so you have to communicate via email, and they don't want to take responsibility for any issues. Read all reviews, every word is true, and I am dealing with it now! I wish someone showed me the BBB site, I would have NEVER ordered my pool from them. They will tell you they are the only ones that can get pools... NOT TRUE!! NO MATTER HOW LONG YOU HAVE TO WAIT, USE ANOTHER POOL COMPANY!!"
"I cant believe how we were talked to through email from customer service. We were belillted & made fun of for asking about delivery. Never could get a call or even a name Worse experience EVER!
Our order never came after 10 week..said we would have in 8 . We cancelled & filed complaint with BBB"
"After reading reviews we were nervous about our purchase. We had no issues what so ever! We got our 24 foot round pool for a great price. We received fast responses when we sent emails. They sent pictures of the delivery when it shipped and it came in the exact condition. Great experience! "
"Emailed to see if they would honor a quote from a few days ago, response was blunt and no, responded I would purchase elsewhere and they actually felt the need to respond Good Luck...I feel fortunate this took place before I placed an order with them."
"A piece of our deck fell and busted our pool early July 2019. I looked on line and found a pool and a discount coupon for National Pool Warehouse. I called and was told that the one I wanted would be in stock and cheaper the next week. I looked it up on line July 16 and it was cheaper. I called and talked to a rep and ordered and paid for the pool thru him. He told me it was in stock and it would be 1 to 2 days to process and 3 to 4 days for delivery. My niece and her kids were right there listening to me repeat what he said as I wrote it down. They used Estes Delivery to ship it. It was a horrible experience trying g to track my shipment. When I finally saw it was sitting in Amarillo for several days I called Estes Delivery service. They did not know why it was still sitting in Amarillo but assured me it would be delivered July 29th. It was not. I called NPW and they blamed me and the shipping company. I reported them to the BBB. They replied that I should have ordered the pool sooner if I wanted it before the summer was over. I finally got my pool August 6th. School starts next week. No end of summer pool party for the kids. Now isn't that a way to treat customers that spend over $1200 for your product?PLEASE learn from my bad experience and tell everyone you know.....Do NOT buy anything from this so called business."
"Search the web and find any other pool wholesaler but stay away from this one!! You might be OK with your purchase but if you need anything after the initial purchase you will be left high and dry! Ordered the whole package and after 11 months the pump burned up (made in China!). Tried to inquire about how to enforce the warranty and "Jim" was about as helpful as a rash! First I was told to send a picture of some row of numbers that was on the POOL. Needless to say not much was visible on the pool after being set up and in use for 11 months in the south! The after numerous emails back and forth and threats from me to contact the BBB (which I'm doing this weekend), "Jim" tells me these numbers are on the PUMP! Again, out in the weather for 11 months and not all was visible. Now, this is the company that sold me the products, shouldn't they have the product information on file? Not according to "Jim"! Just keep reading the reviews on this company before you buy....PLEASE! Also check any company you choose with the BBB before buying. This one has an "F" rating!"
"Call their number, you are referred to the website where you are instructed to create an account before anyone will talk to you, but the website won't let you create an account. Call the company back and ask for help, you will be hung up on - five times. "
"But after you purchase there product ( YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN )!! I should have realized the reviews on there site were STAGED."
"Purchased an above ground pool liner in 2010. It was a 20 year liner. Had a leak at one of the seams on the 4th summer. Now have another leak a year later. Website is not clear about registering the product for the warranty. Also, can't find a way to write a review on their website. They show you their wonderful reviews and their 4.9 out of 5 rating but don't make it easy to write a review months or years after the purchase. You can write the review right after your purchase though. "
"Horrible. 2nd time I got stung by this company. They were using a different name, but later I compared the sites and they were the same. Kept my money over a month because they said it was not in stock. Their site says it is in stock. Told them to change it and I still see they say it is in stock with limited quantities. I only ordered 1. They were out of stock and didn't expect any until mid 2014. Of course they strung me along the whole time saying they will get it in soon. Never happened. Do not use this company."
"Internet Pool Group / National Pool Wholesalers, same company.
They have thousands of good reviews on their own site, very high ratings. Hmmm. No bad reviews. At All. I know why. The bad ones never make it online. If you get what you are after, you are good to go, if you have a problem (caused by them), you are screwed. Ordered a pool cover. They sent the wrong size. Outside box labeled correctly, inside: wrong label and size. Solution: let them know, they will send a shipping label with the correct size, correct? WRONG! Take a picture of the label and send it to us......take a picture of the other label and send it to us......Oh, well you need to submit that as a warranty issue (What?).....submit......Send us pictures......take the cover out and measure it.......OMG.........wrong size, send me the right one..........take a picture of the measurement..are you out of your flipping mind? Called credit card company. Money refunded immediately. They just try to string you along until you drop it. Don't believe me? Try searching for "better business bureau national pool wholesalers", look at the Southeast Florida BBB site, look at complaints.com, complaintsboard.com, ripoffreport.com. Wish I had seen those first."
