"I ordered a bottle and paid for expedited shipping to reach a graduate for his big day . well the shipping was delayed which I don’t fault the company for but on top of that he received the wrong bottle I paid for an 18 year scotch and he received a 15 one customer service has been over a week and I still have no resolution to this issue I’ve written two times at this point and it’s the reason for my review if you get it wrong you have to make it right and you have to make it right on time."

"Place my order mid-june for two bottles. Add shipment sent to a Walgreens since no one would be home to sign for it. Shipping was reasonably Christ and quick oh, yeah when I got to the Walgreens and they handed me the box, I knew there was absolutely no way there were two bottles of vodka in that box. I asked the Walgreens associate if I could refuse it after I checked it oh, she told me no she had to check it. I had her check it. There was one bottle of vodka, and lots of packing. She totally empty the box, one bottle of vodka. I told her I was refusing it and sending it back she repacked it. approximately 4 days later I sent an email to internet wines informing them of what happened. No response. I called them, spoke with an internet representative, gave them my order number. They said when the bottles were returned to them they would take care of it. Slow forward one month, apparently it takes a month for FedEx to process a return from southern New Mexico to St Louis. they sent me an email stating they would like to resend the same package and I should pay $17 extra for shipping. I responded that they should send the order that I ordered which would have been two bottles and I'm not paying anything. I have yet to hear back from them so I have initiated a chargeback on my American Express to include FedEx shipping and a dollar insurance. I would not recommend this company based on the fact that apparently customer service does not exist with them, I believe they count on people just sucking it up and rolling with the punches. I am not that person. I give them one star because the delivery was fairly prompt and reasonably priced, but everything else was sorely lacking and in the world of the internet sales, especially in light of what's going on right now, businesses like this need to get their act together."
"Everything about how delivery works is right there for all the see. Including substitutions if needed. I ordered ten bottles of my favorite wine because I can't find it anywhere else with reasonable shipping. It's not available in my state, which is weird. I got all ten which were packed great. I ordered on a Tuesday, they were shipped on Thursday and I received them on Monday. Weekends never count when it states business days. I had no issues. I ordered in plenty of time to get them when I needed them. Thank you for great customer service!! I will be ordering again! And again..."

A few days past I called Internet wines to find out about my order and no answer. I then, decided to read their reviews. Oh no what did I get myself into? These reviews are scary! So I feel I must tell you my experience. Monday, after New Years, having not heard from them, I called. They were waiting on a few wines from their local stores to finish filling my order and I should receive it within a week. Following week I did get my order and I'm content. So, if your not in a rush, I recommend them. If your unsure, call them. Yes they charge shipping . I don't like it but their prices are competitive to others with shipping charges, delivery charges w/tip. If your in a rush, go to your local wine shop. I will be ordering from them continuously. "

"I called to get a refund back regarding shipping charges and was basically told I should have read all the categories at the BOTTOM of the page even if I didn't have a question. I paid a considerable amount for 2 day shipping only to find out it is 2 day shipping after the wine ships, which makes no sense at all. It is never specified when you go to checkout nor is it said anywhere on your confirmation order form. I spent over $1,500 with them and you would think the least they could do is refund the money to keep a customer. I will never be using them again for the way they handled the situation. "
