I had a question about the color of an invite and called, and it was so refreshing to have a real person actually answer the phone. It turned out that they actually had a design studio in my area and set me up to come in with a free, private one-on-one session. I was able to see and feel various designs. It was just far more than I ever expected from what I thought was just an online store. This is definitely not some garage operation. Oh yeah, and the prices were great! - well, as good as they could be for wedding invites."

"I had a great experience. I ordered Bar Mitzvah invitations for my son. I received my proof the same day. I was able to request a few changes, and got it approved the next day. It was shipped and delivered a few days before the estimation. I actually made a mistake with the order and didn't select the paper color that I wanted (I wanted red, but it was sent in white), but I called these guys and they were quick to help. They got it reprinted for me, and because the Bar Mitzvah was soon approaching, really worked with me to get it to me quickly. Would definitely recommend."
"I would NOT use invitation duck again for the following reasons:
1.)The customization page for the invitation was not working properly - I tried to work around this issue several times, but the system would not maintain the fonts I chose. Had to describe by phone to the individual what I wanted - he only said they had experienced problems with it.
2.) I tried to utilize the Chat live feature from the website,since no one ever resonds at the phone # listed on the site, but it never opened up, only error messages appeared. When I told the individual about this, he said it only works during working hours (10:00-5pm EST),and I was attempting it too early in the morning at 9:00-9:45am. I tried MANY times during this time frame and it still did not work. BTW: I also told the individual, Lanny, that their stated working hours on the webiste, are 9:00am-5:00pm EST, not 10:00am... and that I am located in EST. Good luck trying to reach someone when you need it, as no one gets back to you by phone or email, unless you threaten to cancel the order... then they surface.
3.) They shipped the package to the billing address and not the shipping address, which I originally stated when I created the account on the website.
4.) I asked by phone for a pdf of the invite sent by email, if it were possible, Lanny said sure, not a problem. A week earlier I had made the same request to him by email... but he never responded to it... and it's been over a week and I still have not received the Pdf. In fact, I've gotten no response from him about this, or any other time I've asked a question by email.
I will take my company's business elsewhere in the future- as we do this quite frequently. ONLY chose Duck because they offered the invitation design that was ultimately chosen.
4.) Went to the BBB site and read 3 complaints charged against Duck in the last year - Invitation Duck has only been in business for 1YEAR!!! NOT a good track record."

I am VERY disappointed with my experience in dealing with invitation duck. I ordered my son's first birthday invitations and were told they would be shipped on a specific date. Over a week after that date had passed, after my inquiry, I was told the order must have been lost in the mail. I was told via email that "I am currently re-printing your order and planning on expediting it to you again". After several unanswered phone calls and emails, I finally received an email stating I was going to be refunded and they were not able to get them to me in time. I never received a phone call, good explanation as to why the reprints were no longer being sent, or a response to my follow up email. Since I was misinformed about the reprints being sent, I no longer have time to have new invites made and my son will not have invitations.
After looking at the reviews, I realize I should have expected this. Based on invitation duck's lack of professionalism in dealing with this matter as well as their lack of responsiveness, I will am sharing this review. I will NEVER recommend anyone to invitation duck.
I am shocked an appalled that this is how this company does business."
"It was very frustrating trying to deal with Invitation Duck. We never received a proof for the design that we submitted. The phone never was answered after 15 attempts all times of the day and over several days. The online chat function is never working with no one picking up on the other end. 1 email was answered and a proof was promised by the end of business, granted this was 5 days after our design was submitted, and we had already been billed on day 1. The proof was never received. It took 10 days and calls to our credit card company to resolve the issue and get our money back. Through all this I think all Invitation Duck did was charge my card and answer 1 email with an unfulfilled promise. Avoid them at all costs. After looking for other vendors providing the same product, actually found their prices are not that competitive either."
"Completely unprofessional, no proof received, no responses to over a dozen emails and voicemails left. Gave over a month and a half for birthday invitations to arrive, and not one word from anyone! Ordered thru polkadotdesign.com and received the same invites and cheaper in less than a week! Don't waste ur time or money with this company or u'll just find yourself disputing the charge to get your money back and end up aggravated. "
