"I needed to replace my pump motor so I contacted Inyopools for confirmation that the motor I was looking at was the right one for my pump. I chatted with Joe who answered my questions and confirmed that I had the correct motor in mind, I was also advised to replace some seals to prevent future motor issues. Joe then sent me links to videos showing me how to replace both seals and the motor which was extremely helpful. My order arrived without issue in just a few days. I had begun the process of switching it out when I found another part of the pump assembly was cracked, so back onto Inyopools website to order the broken part I went. I will look to them first for all of my future pool care needs. "

"I needed a robotic pool cleaner that could handle leaves so I called Inyopools to ask their technical support staff what cleaner and extra parts were needed. They directed me to a Maytronics cleaner and two additional parts which I ordered.
When I received the cleaner and parts I assembled them according to their online instructions. When placed in the pool the cleaner moved a couple of inches and stopped. I called and they directed me to remove the leaf bag and put in the standard filters, everything worked fine then.
When I called them back with the results of the test the new Call desk person became very belligerent and insisted I take this up with Maytronics. I called Maytronics and long and short discovered they had not told me about two required parts to use a leaf bag. When I called about these two parts they were again very adversarial, said they did not have the two parts, and to look at other places for the parts, including a recommendation to use Amazon.
I found the kit for four parts on Amazon for $40.00 less that the same kit at Inyopools. I then ordered the kit and after using the kit everything worked fine.
I recalled Inyopools again to find out what to do with the two parts they sent for over $99 and they refused to help.
My take away from this is to call the manufacturer and then take those part numbers somewhere other than Inyopools and purchase the correct part for less, elsewhere."

"Terrible. I ordered the wrong check valve and contacted them within 10 minutes of ordering to cancel. I was told they were trying to contact Ups to get the product back (yes, prepped and delivered to ups in 10 minutes) and would let me know. I never heard from them again. Surprise! Surprise! My product was irreversibly shipped in 10 minutes. I'm sure a 20% restocking fee and buyer responsibility for return shipping played a part. 8 days later, it's somewhere in Texas for delivery. I live in Indiana. I will be contesting the charge on my credit card. They're interested in your money. That's it. They should change the name to "Inyo Wallet"."
"Inyopools does not have consideration for the customer. 2 pumps went out on our pool (over $800). We were told the pumps would ship out the same day if ordered by 10AM (DID NOT HAPPEN). When they did arrive 3 days later one of the pumps was damaged and when inyopools was contacted they said they would have UPS pick it up and another one would be sent out (the following Tuesday, DID NOT HAPPEN). A week later, from date of original delivery, UPS comes to pick it up and one was not sent (going against what I was told would happen ONCE AGAIN) so I did not allow them to take the one I had . Now the pool could not be filtered and run for a week. Upon contacting Inyopools they stated that they should have picked it up on Tuesday and can not control UPS and can not ship an new pump until this one was shipped back (never told this until after the fact as most send out a replacement immediately so the pool does not get algae etc growth). The new pump would take another 3+ days with no gaurantee making it almost 2 weeks that the pool filter and salt system is not able to run. They stick to a process and do not work with the Customer. Their solution was to buy another pump and then they would reimburse me for the one that got returned (just about money which I already paid and did not get what I paid for) or again ship one back and wait for another to arrive with no written committed gurantees (Just words which again what they said the first 2 times was not correct) which help insure that my pool is filtered over this 2 week period. What would happen if I handled paying for the pumps in this same manner I'm sure they would have an issue with it. Its a business they will happily take your money and then not support you as the customer. What ever happend to the Customer comes first and is alwasy right!!!!!"
"Ordered a number of items after a lengthy chat session where inyo was very helpful. The key item I needed was an impeller for a 9 year old spa pump. The order was shipped in three parts. Amazingly I got the impeller the very next day (shipped from Hartford to the Boston area). The remaining items came in two additional shipments arriving after 2 and 3 days. Everything exactly as described. The spa dichlor they have is even more pure than what I normally use. Overall very satisfied and I'll be coming back for sure."

"I am not reporting the experience of an order, but rather their poor pre-sale behavior related to their price match guarantee.
Their website promises to beat competitors prices or give a $10 off coupon ($50 min purchase). Turns out, it's not very hard to find competitor pricing that's 10-15% lower for a pump motor (when S&H is included). Not to mention parts such as pump seal kits are sold elsewhere for 1/3 what they ask, so a $10 off $50 isn't meaningful either. Bottom line, if the price elsewhere is more than $10 less, don't waste time at this site hoping to get a better price."
"I ordered a pool cleaner and paid by PayPal. The company posted that I would have it in 7-10 days. I monitored their website and my order kept saying it was being processed. After 2 weeks and my order was still being processed I called Customer Service and inquired about my order. The Customer Representative said that the pool cleaner was backordered by they were received that day and I would have my pool cleaner within 7 days. 10 days later I called and wanted to cancel my order and was told that they would have to call the warehouse to make sure it was already shipped. I told them I really didn't care, they were a bunch of liars and I wanted the order cancelled. They said they would send me an email confirming the order was cancelled... It never came either. Go somewhere else and pay a few extra dollars, its worth the peace of mind!"
