"I sent my Ipod 5 to this company about 10 weeks ago to have a battery replaced. Paid online and received a package to send it to them. In about a week I received notice via email that they had replaced the battery and were now testing it. I would receive the ipod soon as they ship out. That was about 8-9 weeks ago. About 6 weeks ago I started contacting them by any means necessary: Email, phone, web site . . . multiple times (around 10 so far) and no response. I have just filed with the BBB and now I am placing a complaint with every review site that I can find. Wish I had done my homework. Ipod Battery Depot . . . just follow through on what you were paid for and I will rescind."
"I didn't think this would be difficult. Didn't bother reading up on the reviews before my purchase. My mistake, the writing and opinions are all over this wall. Do not use this company. Information about the products are incorrect. I thought the caption I read on the item "...will fit any ipod with the serial # ..." Guess what, not true. They will not return calls/emails after the purchase to help you fix what is wrong. Thank God I am only out $23. They should be shut down. "
"I had a classic iPod and just needed a new battery. I signed up to have hem send me a prepaid box to send the iPod to them and then have the fixed iPod send back to me. The USPS box arrived with a tracking number, I sent it back with a tracking number (which they received) then nothing. 3 phone calls with no answer but an answering machine. No call back from them. I sent an email to their customer care from their web site and guess what no such address. They are a joke but I guess the joke is on me for trusting them. Do your self a favor and DO NOT USE THEM. "

"Sent my iPod containing 26000 songs. After 2 weeks was notified that I should have received it but no shipping tracking number was provided. I sent an inquiry. Was informed that they had just received it ( now 3 weeks after sent). Was informed that they would notify me when shipped. After one month no word called and left message and sent e mail. 6 days after my phone call I received an iPod which was not my iPod clearly different in several ways. Needless to say it didn't work . In fact my charger jack barely could be fit into it. I sent them an email asking what had happened to my iPod. Needless to say I have not heard from them. Imagine their arrogance in response to my inquiry they sent me a piece of useless junk. Beware of this company. "

"I purchased a battery and service to have the battery installed. They sent me a box to send my iPod 5th generation 64gb. I took my device to Apple to have them evaluate it and give me a price to replace the battery. Their price was more than $20 more so I told them I’d have it done elsewhere. At their suggestion I disabled my “find my phone” feature and did a factory reset to erase all personal information. I took pictures of my device, packed it up and shipped it. I got an email from battery depo that they received my iPod, but their description was not of my device. They claimed all this broken and not working stuff that my device didn’t have, ie: broken click wheel, which is not on the 5th generation iPod Touch. I emailed them with photos of my device, to show the device and the prime condition it was in the day I sent it to them. I emailed a dozen more times, I called and left a dozen messages. I submitted support forms on their website but I’ve never heard back. My iPod is valued at $300 and I have no idea if they ever plan on doing the work I paid for or returning my device. I filed a complaint on the BBB, but they have a one star review with lots of complaints and each stating they can’t get a reply from iPod battery depo. "
"I ordered a replacement battery for an iphone 3GS, could not get a printed receipt, but kept getting routed back to the original page to request a receipt. I also attempted to call and left a voicemail message, but never got a response. The tools that were supposed to be included in the kit were not included, and again, no one returns calls to address customer service issues with this company. In attempting to get an RMS number for a refund, the website didn't recognize my order number so there's no way to get a refund. If you send the product back without an RMS number, they charge you more, so I'm stuck with something I can't use, and you can't speak to ANYONE at this company to get help. Never again. "

Yes, they did install a new battery but the iPod no longer works! Tried calling, unable to get through. Tried clicking on the submit a trouble ticket on their website - it brings you to an error page. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!"
"Just got my Nano 5th GEN Battery replaced using the full service. Good value for the money and my Ipod works great. My only suggestion for improvement would be to notify the customer more quickly when the company gets the unit in the mail. That took some time as I thought mine got lost or stolen. "
"I ordered a replacement battery for my IPod Classic and it was delivered very promptly. I tried to open the case but rather quickly decided to leave the installation to the pros rather than damage the unit. I contacted IPod Depot and they sent me out a return package which I sent back to them. A few days later a package arrived with my IPod back to new and a new car charger to boot. IPod Depot was very good and delivered quality service to me so I would give them 5 stars on both product and service."

"steer clear of this company. they claim to make their batteries, touting they are better than all others. what they send is a made in china battery, clearly printed on the battery itself. they also charge you 12 or 14 dollars for instructions . the "instructions" are an address which links to a free youtube video.
i had a question because the battery did not fit my ipod and even though my email to them stated the model # of the unti in each of the 3 emails i sent them, their reply each time was--what is the model #. never did answer my question so i gave up and installed the battery anyway.
the new battery takes forever to charge and i will never buy from this inept, ineffectual, inefficient company again. buiyer beware--they are not better than the other guys what so ever."
