"Bought a shirt on-line and they sent me the wrong size. The wouldn't send me the right size after i requested. So they sent me a return label and deducted the shipping from my refund even when it was the fault.. I had to pay for there mistake. That's Wrong. "
"The discount is good ... things go downhill from there. The item was advertised as a two-day delivery at purchase. I was then almost immediately informed that there would ne a delay. The order was placed on September 24th and I just received it on October 5th. In the meantime I tried to check the status online, but there was no record of the order. I tried calling their customer service line, but it gives a message that it hasn't been set up to receive calls. I contacted my credit card to put the charge in dispute, and only found out later that the shipment was made ... maybe this is a coincidence ... maybe not. The item was as advertised except for a small manufacturing defect, so I'll be keeping it, but I won't do business with this type of company again."

"Really not good experience with Island Trends. Their sale is actually final sale, but they don't tell you that, which I find very misleading. So, they will accept your return for store credit, only.
I called them to ask for an exception as a new customer, and asked them to refund my return, but I found deaf people on the other side. I find their behavior really arrogant. (I think they were making fun of my request).

Shipping on original orders took up to 20 days each (I ordered multiple times, never received notification of delay/ship progress notices), they charged me $10.00 (!) shipping on an exchange I had free shipping for and never sent notice of nor posted a refund for the balance on items returned. Meanwhile, every day I was barraged with marketing notices from them.
I've since found another site has the same FitFlops stock for less money and offers free 2 day shipping. Feeling ripped off - won't shop here again!"
"I have ordered a lot of Fit Flops from this company. My last order contained a pair of Happy Gogh in red. The shoes cracked all the way across the front not just "laughter lines" as they tried to have me believe is normal. Eventaully they agreed to my shipping them back which I did by FedEx on October 16. Yesterday (December 7) I called as I had not heard from them. 3 different people told me they had not been received. Luckily I was able to track the package by tracking number and found it had been delivered and signed for on October 19. I also found out they had other customers return the shoes for the same reason. They were faulty. I was asked if I wanted a refund or another pair and I chose a refund. However, even though the shoes were faulty, they refused to refund the charge for shipping them back. I will never buy from this company again."
"Ordered a shirt; so far so good. The site "offers" free ground shipping for orders over $95 but only if the item is "full" price - so even if a $165 shirt is marked down to $110 they charge shipping.
Still wanted the shirt, so placed the order. Now, 5 days later an email shows up saying the shirt is on "back order" and will now, supposedly, ship on 1/25. This is odd as the order process indicates in stock by just being able to select the color/size in the drop downs. Will update this when (or if) the shirt arrives.
Update: Shirt arrived on the new schedule - about a week; however, even though the site indicates they won't charge your card until the product ships, this was not the case. I might use them again in the future but I will be more realistic in the expectations.
New Update: Well, I did use them again - once indirectly (May '08) and a new recent order (August '08) and the latest expererience is very positive and now their rating deserves to be improved. (And it seems I'm the only one rating them.... :-)"
