"I submitted 2nd generation airpods to ItsWorthMore based solely upon reviews and their purchase quote. Upon inspection, they reported my airpods were locked to my icloud account and included instructions for remote unlock. While I was certain I had unlocked and deleted the airpods from my icloud account prior to shipment, I accepted their inspection results and tried to follow the instructions they included. Those instructions were out of date. I went to apple support to determine how to do this remote unlock, only to find there were no devices attached to my iCloud account. Because I had sold my Macbook, my iPhone, and these Airpods and deleted/disassociated all three at the same time. My first thought: IWM was scamming me!
The original email said I had 30 days to respond to their findings. If they had not heard from me within 30 days, they would cancel the quote and recycle my device. However, with 2 days, I was receving emails stating they needed to hear from me within 24 hours. SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! my brain screamed. I did reply back and let them know that the device was indeed unlocked and not associated with my account, at which time they were set for reinspection and accepted. I deposited the check yesterday and hopefully there is no issue and this is a success story.
From my first experience dealing with this company, I'm not sure I would do it again. They get kudos for communication - I received emails when they received my item and the first inspection results within a couple of days after that, but the "if we don't hear from you in 30 days ...." followed by emails saying I had 24 or 48 hours to take action really turned me off. "I sold a phone to ItsWorthMore and I couldn’t be happier. The process was simple and accurate. I will definitely use this company again to sell items. They paid the most out of the 8 internet sites and local places I visited. The money was deposited in my PayPal account within 24 of them receiving my phone. Excellent service, thank you!"
"**update ** please see below, they were able to adjust so revising my review score. Totally understand if there were issues, but providing a picture of the issue would make it fully transparent. Thank you!

I thought my device was in flawless condition - I don't recall any scratches on the device, screen, etc. I was told it was in a lesser condition and offered less money, but no pictures were provided showing the issues. I took it since it took ~5 days to arrive and then another ~5 days to assess. Would be another 5+ days until I receive it back and have to sell again, so was kind of stuck. "
"Super fast service no issues top dollar paid"
"Everything went great. When I sent the phone off, I had a feeling, I would not hear anything. But no, I received an email shortly thereafter stating my phone was in the condition I said it was, and that I'd be receiving a $330.00 check. The check showed up about a week later. Great service!"
"Process was easy and they communicated the status at every step so it was easy to follow the progress"
"Very fair , good experience. "
"I had a machine that was locked with a password and once I unlocked it the machine brought even more than the original estimate. Happy to have those machines moved along to someone who can benefit and a little extra cash for the new one."
"I was offered an Excellent Price to buy my Surface Duo and received Fast Payment. YAY!!."
"Although they offer the highest amount in your initial request. Once you send the items in, they “evaluate” the items and manufacture damage to the items that don’t exist. I have had this happen on both transactions I did with them. Thankfully, I learned from my first encounter to take multiple pictures of the device and put full size color photos in the shipping package…so they can see that I have proof of the condition of the item. That doesn’t stop them from making the false claims, but having photographic evidence has proven helpful in arguing to get the full value offered. Beware…take precautions to protect yourself…these guys try to pull the wool over your eyes."
"I’m really happy that I choose this company itsworthmore to sell my electronics that I no longer use. I send 2 items already! The price I get paid it’s fair. Once you dropped at the mail office it takes about 2-3 days to get there, once they receive it, it takes about 7 days total including non business days (In my case). Great work - great timing - great communication (notifications via mail). 5 stars thank you. "
"I was really pleased how the process went and how my situation was handled!"
"Most items the company emails back with lower offer stating defects are present but doesn’t show you."
"Everything went according to plkan."
"Great experience, paid what was quoted, fast payment & fair to work with."
A rep from ItsWorthMore.com, itsworthmore, has responded:
“Thank you for sharing your valuable feedback. Anytime we adjust a trade-in we give the user an option to challenge our findings which prompts a senior technician and management to re-review the device and either provide photo evidence or correct the error. It looks like you may not have noticed this feature as it was not utilized. Upon seeing your review, we took a second look at the device and while we do see some very minor scratching on the bottom casing as well as very light finger wear on the keyboard, it is not enough to justify a downgrade. We've reversed the adjustment and gone ahead and paid out the balance.”
