"I had previously purchased an 8qt oil pan and it was rubbing against the crankshaft. I took the part back to Jegs in Columbus, on 11th Ave. and spoke with Aaron (a terrible sales associate) and he told me that I "should've known sooner that the crank was hitting." He also proceeded to tell me that he didn't care about the problem. I asked to speak with the manager and he stated that there was nothing they could do because of the 90 day warranty policy.... I was building a motor over the course of a year. 90 days is ridiculous. And even if they couldn't help me, telling me that I should've known the pan was faulty and that I messed up when installing the crankshaft is rude and unprofessional. I've never had good customer service with Jegs and have always had a great experience with Summit Racing Equipment. I will take my business to Summit Racing Equipment from this day forward. "
"I have owned at least two drag cars for the last 25 years, so you know I am always buying parts. It would probably make me sick if I really knew how much I have spent over the years. I needed a brake rotor for my dragster a couple of weeks ago and when I ordered it online I accidentally order a couple of other things I was looking at previously. That part was my own fault I know. I got the order confirmation minutes after I placed the order and realized my mistake. I opened a case with them and explained my error and I was assured that it would be handled. The two items that I ordered by mistake were to be shipped from the manufacturer and the part that I actually wanted was in stock. I get my brake rotor in a couple of days and I think all is good. Another week goes by and the parts I did not want are sitting on my doorstep. I contacted them and was told that they were sorry that it happened and the would send a call tag for the parts. I told them they couldn't cancel an order in three days, so chances of me getting a credit were slim at best. I am keeping the $500.00 worth of parts as a reminder to order from Summit Racing from now on. I guess they have enough customers."
"Jeg's refused to honor their "Guarantee Lowest Price Match" even after identifying 2 retailers that sell the same item for a normal price of $64.28.The price match policy is as follow: "The price match guarantee does not apply to refurbished, closed, or close out sales.
JEGS reserve the right to determine the eligibility of all price matched items." Located a Lund 96072 Genesis Roll-Up Tonneau Cover on Amazon advertised for $64.28 with free shipping however it would be approx. 30 days to ship. Found it at Walmart for the same price ($64.28) but it was out of stock. Continued searching and found it at Jeg's.
Noticed Jegs had a "guarantee lowest price match policy". Ordered the item and provided Jegs's will the websites as instructed to verify the price which they did. However they would not honor the price and informed me to order it from Amazon. The informed me: 1.
The price listed was a mistake. I called Amazon and verified the price was correct. 2. The price was much less then most sellers so it was outdated.
again i verified with Amazon and the price was correct. 3. Jeg's stated they couldn't confirm the price even though they were provided the link to both websites with the advertised price. 4.
Stated the price of the competitors is to good to be true. 5. Stated Walmart is out of stock so they couldn't verify the price. They could on Amazon.
The main reason i originally didn't order from Amazon and place the order with Jeg's was because Jeg's was able to ship quicker and the "Lowest Price Guarantee Price Match".
In conclusion all the stipulations for the "Price Match" were met.Don't advertise it if your not going to honor it.

"Ordered a direct bolt in replacement radiator for my 300zx on 5/12/17. The money was promptly taken out on the following day, the 13th, and I began my 2 week waiting period for it to ship which was posted for the shipping. At 2 weeks I got a email saying the radiator was shupped directly to me from the vendor and the product had no ETA. Well at 4 weeks in, on 6/1/17, i called just hoping for some info or maybe a tracking number. The customer service girl calls the vendor and responds back to me with, "sorry they have no Eta on your product at the moment" and when I asked for more info she told me to call them directly. Well I somehow patiently waited out another almost 2 weeks before calling again, on 6/13/17 to be politely greeted by the same customer service representative. Until she got my name and order number that is. She called the vendor again and responded back with the same response as before. No ETA and no clue when it'll be shipped. AND tells me I could order a different part for a little more that's in stock. Except this is closest place to me advertising this direct bolt in replacement radiator for sale so I bought it. Jegs after a month wants me to pay them more and buy a different radiator that doesn't fit to get a bad order out of their hands. How is it they can advertise a product on their page for sale, and not be able to get any info in a month. They will also spam your email with product reviews, even when you called not too long ago stating you haven't seen your product. Unless your looking for a "big car company" to take your money, give you attitude, and never see your product, dont order from jegs"
"On 4-13-2017 I ordered a LS1 harmonic balancer bolt made by ARP. About 2 weeks later I received a message that the part was being shipped by the manufacturer (direct) and would be shipped 5-1-2017. No problem.
5-1-2017 it was not shipped and contacted JEGS support. I was told it would absolutely be in the mail 5-2-2017.
5-2-2017 it is still NOT shipped but is available for immediate shipment on the JEGS website! I contacted customer support via email and they tell me it will not be shipped until 5-9-2017! I called them on the phone and asked what the hell is going on?
No reasonable explanation was given just a lot of bull ****. So if you are waiting for a part weeks on end and they actually have it, you must wait an additional 10 days? Pretty screwed up system. Be advised there is no back order on excuses here and they have plenty of "hey sorry have a great day in stock and FREE" no delays.

"The 555-81920 cordless work/flashlight has a magnetic base, but no hook. What kind of a work light does not have a hook? Initially, sometimes the flashlight would not turn on....finally it failed altogether. It is almost too expensive to ship it back, compared to the $22 cost of the light.

"Their site says if you order by 11 it will ship that day. Not in my case, in fact after waiting several days I get an email informing me that they do not have what I ordered. I chose another product and was told they have it ready to ship. Again several days and without shipping status I called, they told me they did not have the part and was having it shipped from the manufacturer. Again, several days later I call back and they tell me the part is shipping the next day. I called again and was again told it was shipping that day. After no tracking number or anything, I call again a week later and this time they tell me the part is on back order. I told them to cancel my order and I still have not gotten my money back.
I wasted a few weeks playing their games. Horrible customer service every time I called.

"It is impossible to order anything from this company. It seems there is no way to pay the orders anymore. First they keep asking credit card and after several emails they say it is not possible to use because they don't have verification from bank. That kind of verification is not possible to get here in Europe because banks want to protect their customers from web frauds. PayPal was okay after several emails cancelling and placing orders. Next order I did right away with PayPal, but also it caused lot of confusion, emails from several persons, asking order cancellation and placing a new one. All parts were back ordered, but Jegs wanted to bill PayPal account right away. This is another problem. You have to wait ordered parts for months. I got enough about this company. It is waste of time to try get easy web orders from them."
"Ordered two items, and less than a day after ordering I emailed to change the name of the shipping address. I was given confirmation that the shipping information would be changed and a new invoice confirming my order. I waited about a month and checked in to see if my items would be arriving soon.
I was informed that "per my request" my order was cancelled. After several attempts to explain what was already available in the email chain, customer service representatives maintained that I requested a cancellation.
This company is completely incapable of solving their own problems, and will blame their mistakes on their customers if they can't figure it out.
Also, when you have an issue, you speak to almost 5 different representatives, and they claim they can't see the email chain you're in. "Online catalog did not show the year of my vehicle so I called to get correct headers to fit this vehicle, after some back and forth Gregg he gave me part number i needed so i ordered the set,
after trying to install headers and after making one side fit the other side was no were close to fitting, I called to try and get the correct headers explaining the entire situation and to return the wrong headers that Jegs employee said would work only to be told since I tried installing headers they would not take them back. I have been a tech for 40 years and never had a issue returning parts from other suppliers when their employee said they would work.
This is the store I purchased headers from below I would not recommend any purchase from this store since they don't even back up their own employees abilities to look up parts!
As most of you reviewing this know almost any performance parts especially headers/exhaust require some modifications when installing in chassis to make them work.
Jegs could have simply returned the headers to headmen as damaged return but they would not even try which is why no one should buy from this store!

"Bought 555-65520 Jegs tire inflator gauge. Upon assembly found the air inlet fitting to be a metric fine thread (12x1.0). Shop around numerous days looking for a fitting they would work. All fitting are 1/4 npt. Called Jegs, they said Napa had it. Drove across town to find out they didn't. Called back to return it and THEY WANT ME TO PAY
FOR SHIPPING. On top of all that got email that it price dropped another $10.00. GREAT.. Paying $25.00+ dollars to return a $45.00 item doesn't make since. Now I'm stuck with it. Obviously a Chinese made product. How can I trust there in house products now?

"We put in '69 Plymouth Fury 383, and got pistons for a 2000's Chevrolet!! Their site is inferior and there was NO info on the order, the site page, nothing telling you they are for a Chevy!! Then, there "return" page wouldn't work and I had to pay almost $40 to send them back. I hope and pray we get our money refunded. I turned in a complaint to the BBB and will dispute the charges on my CC if I don't get a refund, soon.

"I placed an order online for two Brake Rotors. I waited for shipping confirmation and they failed to provide any. I contacted Jegs and they informed me that they were no longer available. They were discontinued by the manufacture. Jegs wasted my time a delayed me replacing my rotors. I urge anyone to shop the Many Online Stores that don't play games and deliver as promised. I DO NOT RECOMMEND JEGS for any purchasing. They are incompetent and will disappoint you if you give them a chance. They have a terrible satisfaction rating and pathetic service.
