"As per other customers, I ordered, never received 2 book sets that I needed for gifts for ordination. Tried to contact, only email...never got back to me. What a shame from a Catholic store. You ought to be ashamed. It has now been so long, I need to find my payment they took out.

"My husband and I ordered rosaries from this company, were charged, and never received the products we ordered. We went through the whole ordering process, inputting email, mailing address, and card information, but never got a confirmation email with order details. My card was charged in full soon after the order was placed, but still no confirmation email (not even in a spam folder). We decided to be patient and give it a little time.
A full month later, we had still not received anything from JMJ Products, but I had the charge on my card statement. As JMJ Products does not accept phone calls (and I begin to see why), I contacted them via email explaining the situation, and got a very unprofessional response in reply—all caps, no apology, just a demand that we provide more information about the order. I provided what information I had, and the next email I got back was in exactly the same tone: utterly unapologetic, and as if it were my fault that they were having a hard time finding the transaction. I'm not surprised that it was hard to find, because they never sent a confirmation email. Confirmation emails are a business standard for reasons like these. After more back-and-forth, JMJ Products told me that they couldn’t find the sale record and asked how they were supposed to issue the refund, claiming that they couldn’t search their own charge records. This is interesting, because the charge is on my statement, and if they keep honest records, their credit card payments would show exactly the same charge. In any case, I’m not responsible for telling a company how to issue a refund.
Despite not providing the products I paid for, JMJ Products would not issue the refund, so I disputed the charge through American Express. AmEx is great about protecting customers against merchant fraud and issued a refund immediately. However, JMJ Products’ apparent dishonesty and total lack of professionalism are absurd. It seems like they expect to sail by on goodwill from the fact that they’re a “family-run, Catholic company.” This gives Catholic businesses a bad name and is not an honest way to operate: if you accept money in return for products or services, family business or not, you have a moral obligation to those who purchase these from you. A lack of professionalism and honesty is not papered over by a cute business model.
JMJ Products also claims to be Better Business Bureau certified, which is untrue. I’m not sure why they would claim that when it’s easily verifiable as false. Given the number of other reviews stating the same issue with this company (people ordered and paid for a product without receiving it), I’m not surprised JMJ Products can’t get or maintain a BBB certification. They’re running a scam operation."
"This was one of the worst experiences I had shopping online--which I do a lot of. I purchased items totally $130 for my grandkids to use in a saint class I teach them. When I received my order, several items were not included but items I didn't order were included. Their note said "we didn't have in stock what you ordered but sent substitutes instead." They never called me to ask if I wanted other items. I plan my classes for specific saints each week and purchased specific items. I had to return what I did not order at my expense in order to receive refund (which did not include tax I paid). I ordered 9 St. Peregrine Relic medals and didn't receive any. When I informed Maria of this, she exclaimed, "I could swear I put them in." I had to email 6 times to receive this item that I had paid for. She never replied to any of my emails after the initial one. I also wanted 9 angel ornaments. The website said one per order, but down below, said two per order (they came in sets of 3). I tried to order 3 but only received 1. I easily could have split my order in 3 from the beginning. I had to re-order 2 more items separately in order to purchase 2 more sets of angel ornaments. This company will not take phone calls and does not respond to emails. Safe yourself a lot of trouble. Order elsewhere."
"I placed a large order - about $90. They were out of stock on one item and substituted another item without asking and one I did not want. I am having difficulty getting a $7.50 credit from them. I should not have to work this hard to get a credit for merchandise not received."
"Great Catholic online store. Got my order in 2 days!

Been in the business for 10 years!"
