"I tried twice to use a discount code they sent me for signing up for their emails. Both times after I click to finalize my purchase the codes went away and I was charged full price. I actually ended up paying more than if I bought the cigars at the corner store. I'll be buying elsewhere from now on."
"JR used to be customer service oriented, but now they are just into getting as much money as possible. The products have gone from great to old stuff they havent been able to sell. they used to have the company to mirror their shipping quality too, but now even if you pay for a better shipping option they just ship when they feel like it.
Need to spend my money with someone else."
"Been ordering cigars with JR since the 90's. Spend $100+ a month. Member of the club and placed an order on 11/20/18. I called and asked about my order on 11/26/18 and was told that they were sorry, but my online order got lost. Was promised that they would ship my order on the 26th and overnight it. Did not receive it late in the day on the 27th. Called again and was told my order shipped today regular shipping. There are plenty of cigar companies out there, so needless to say I will be finding a new one.
I was lied to, and to do this to such a long time customer is appalling. Stay away!!!!!

"Ordered a box. Found it cheaper elsewhere. Asked for price match as they offer on site or cancel my order. There is no place on there site to cancel an order. No response from Customer service for two days. They said to refuse package with no option to price match. Agree, will refuse it and never order again. "

"I was a customer of JR Cigars in 2017. Had an heart attack quit smoking the day after Xmas 2017. Haven't bought anything from them since then. I marked their e=mail adds as spam and didn't hear from them in a while but recently started receiving E-mails from them again and unsubscribed and marked as spam. On October 1st they charged my debit card $59.95. I called them and asked how can you charge my card after I unsubscribed from your e-mails and haven't bought anything from you in almost 2 years and the lady on the phone said I'll be glad to credit you if you don't want to continue your membership. I said you do that but that isn't the point you should after that amount of time contact me and ask if I want to renew I am guessing that there are many people who might never realize you had charged them and in effect you are stealing their money, she in a condescending tone said we have many people that call like you have to have their charges reversed and I said exactly my point you are running a scam and the people who are most likely to not notice are the elderly. I don't know about you folks but I would suggest you stay away from these guys, they are scam artists not just cigar salesmen. "
"Every time I’ve ordered from them, they have gotten my cigars to me in 2 or 3 days. When I lived in Hawaii, they were there in 3 days with only $6.95 shipping. These guys are my go-to when I want bundles!"
"Placed an order and paid for it. Three days later my Order is still not shipped. When I write to ask the reason, I am told one of the departments rejected my order. They have no courtesy to inform me until I email and ask for a response!!! My card has also not been refunded. Called Customer service and am told to wait. The money will eventually be refunded!!!"
"Im placed the order on 8/28. The USPS website stated that the package was delivered on 9/1 -- it was not. I called JRC and was assured that I'd be getting a call back once they've had a chance to resolve this issue with the USPS. I did not. Came home today (9/4) and found the box containing the cigars by my door, basking in the sun. The shipping box was flimsy and it didn't contain any humidity control packs. Considering that I ordered premium cigars and paid for the shipping service, the entire experience is completely unacceptable and is major deal-breaker for me. I will not be ordering from JRCigars ever again. "
"The worst place ever to buy cigars on there site it says order before 3pm eastern and get shipped that day never has happened there delivery is horrible I ordered cigars 3 days ago and there still not shipped I call and the customer service is horrible USPS says a label was made but the item was not shipped she basically said there's nothing she can do for me that on her end the item was shipped never will I ever order from here

I got a cracked Macanudo Hyde Park • N, 5.50 x 49...after calling once and emailing over 4 times, they said they would refund me less than half of what one of the cigars cost...never got the refund. I will be posting as well as putting in a complaint with the BBB and the FDA. "
"Placed an order with a discount code and they decided not to fulfill the order. Took my payment and wouldn't respond to numerous emails over weeks of trying. Had to dispute the charge with Paypal to get a refund. Bad service, terrible customer relations, nothing here to warrent a repeat visit. Go to Thompson, never a bad experience there."
