I ordered a Romanian Tokarev pistol. Price was great (as always), shipping was prompt (as always), but upon opening the box to my new addition to C&R collection... Ta-da! Freakin Glock 22. Just a little different. Nice upgrade, but I'm no dirty rotten scoundrel (not to mention crazy for keeping a Glock with a ffl3). Obviously I called and had them send UPS for pickup. Now the gal at shipping desk told me she had the UPS guy help her box orders that day. Ok, so this is where I lost respect for this company. Really? This guy is gonna be the gun expert? He is just going to shove gun A into labeled box B and get outta there. Is he gonna recognize gun similarities/differences? Or packing slips matching addresses on boxes? That is just poor judgement and a sorry ass excuse to give a customer. Anyways, I still don't know where the Tokarev went or if its even coming my way. I'm gonna see how their A team in shipping are going to make this right. It's been a week since I've sent back the glock and the guy I spoke with to "follow up" didn't know what to do or say since the right hand doesn't know what the left is doing. "Oh call back and talk to the person that helped you" was his response. I'll probably just cancel the order and go elsewhere. Anyways, I never write bad reviews, but I couldn't believe the way this went down. UPS guy? haha really? Roll the dice with them I guess. But as a collector, we are fortunate enough that there are other vendors with their screws a little tighter with service and competency. "

"I ordered a c&r handgun from J&G and chose the "Hand Pick" option for an extra $20 ( hoping to get a better handgun ) The pistol I received was very poor. It had rust, a flattened rear sight and a loose hammer. I just couldn't believe this gun was " hand Picked". I emailed my disappointment to J&G and received no replies.
If I were you, I would look elsewhere for what I wanted. "
"I had to post this review because I was a little nervous about ordering after reading reviews on this site. However I am glad I did. I placed my order Monday night and both firearms I ordered were at my FFL by Thursday. Products were packaged well and in great condition. Only complaint is shipping is way to expensive.

"I haven't order from J&G for a while. Just hadn't had the need. I just bought two rifles. Both shipped quickly, in good shape. Had no issues with getting the FFL to them. I don't know where the bad reviews came from others. J&G seemed to be the same great store they were 2 years ago. I bought a C93 and was worried about the bolt gap. Well within specs. I just find J&G very easy to work with and great prices. Thanks J&G! would and will recommend."

Even the $99 Chinese Type 53 had a decent bore and bluing. I have never had to deal with their customer service so I can't say one way or the other how it is, but I've never gotten a bad product from them."

"Ordered a Ruger Mini-14. It arrived damaged because these assclowns can't be bothered to package their shipments. It's a shame that a new rifle is damaged due to neglect by the vendor. Customer service -> nonexistent. Too many other good vendors to waste your time with these boys."
