JACOLTECH IS A HORROR STORY
I read through the other reviews of this vendor and I too have had a very negative experience similar to two of the others that were mentioned. This is easily by far the worst merchant that I have ever dealt with, and in fact I have never had an issue with a merchant before that wasn't resolved reasonably satisfactorily.
Basically, I placed an order with this vendor and when I received the package and opened it up it was the wrong item. I ordered an 92mm medium-speed Panaflo case fan, and what came was an 80mm low-speed Panaflo fan. I then went to the merchant's website to try and contact them via e-mail, but to my surprise not one of the several e-mail addresses listed on their site worked. They all bounced with a delivery error of "Illegal host/domain name found". I noticed one of the other reviewers mentioned this as well so it has obviously been going on for awhile. Anyway, at this point I was left wondering what to do, because the merchant didn't have a phone number listed on their site or on the invoice of the package that I had received.
Since the vendor is on the Yahoo Shopping network I ended up contacting Yahoo Shopping Services to file a complaint. They got back to me a few days later and said that they had relayed my message/situation to the merchant, who would then contact me as soon as possible to try and resolve my issue. It's been about two weeks now and I haven't heard a peep from the vendor, and I honestly don't think I ever will. A couple of days ago I checked my credit card statement online and noticed that it listed a phone number for the merchant on the charge, so I decided to try that. I have tried calling over the past couple of days at different times but all I ever get is a recording where you can leave a message. I also replied back to Yahoo Shopping Services informing them that the merchant had not contacted me and to inquire as to what the next step was. They instructed me to contact my credit card company to get help resolving the issue.
So this brings us to today's events. On a whim I decided to reverse look-up the vendor's phone number online ***-***-****) and according to www.whitepages.com it is a Verizon Wireless number. When you put all the facts together it would seem to me that whoever this merchant is, it is probably some amateur selling stuff out of his garage that has little or no regard for customer service or courtesy and has no idea how to treat his customers on anything even remotely resembling a professional level. How Yahoo Shopping can allow a vendor like this to operate on their network is beyond me.
So anyway, I called up my credit card company today, told them the whole sordid story, and they said that since it was under $10 I couldn't file a dispute and they just ended up waiving the charges from the merchant instead (yay!). In some ways I wish that the charges had been over that threshold just so I could have filed a dispute, but I'm glad I won't have to pay for them, and I don't know what the credit card company is going to do with the merchant in response to this issue (if anything), but I hope that they take the credit back and that the vendor loses money over this."
"I'm glad I got anything from them, there haven't been reviews here in more than 6 months. Ordered 4 Panaflo H1A high speed quiet case fans, via priority mail (it wasn't much more expensive), recieved 4 Panaflo L1A low speed ultraquiet case fans. Seeing as to how my emails haven't gotten through, I'll just keep these fans, and I'll have a silent system. Still, it would be nice to recieve what you actually ordered..."
"Ordered a Cooler Master Musketeer and Aerogate from them on ebay on Nov 25, 2003. Something went wrong and I did not receive the items, but their records showed that they were shipped. They were very friendly and responsive to my emails. Even though it took over a month and a half to recieve the product, I am satisfied with their service. The prices were better than anywhere else and the products look new and perfect (I have yet to install them). I am not sure if something is unorganized in their shipping department or what, but the important thing is that I received the products. Assuming my incident was a fluke, I would definitely recommend this seller. Excellent customer service and a great price."
"The absolute worst company to order anything from !! I ordered on december 27, 2003 they said it was shipped on the 29. well after waiting and waiting i constantly emailed (the only way of contact) and finally without response on january 12 i got my package. I looked at the post mark on package and it read january 9 !! Plus to add to that it i got wrong product!! i ordered arctic silver 5 and they sent me the original acrtic silver.. this place is horrible all around.
update !! 1/14/2004
got a email back saying how sorry they were for the wrong item and they would be happy to send me the right item.. well of course i said ok !! HAVENT HEARD FROM THEM SINCE !! CROOKS !!

They bought them from some one else and have no control over the other companys QA . So I understand it is my fault for ordering them from Jacol. I sent two emails requesting order status and received no reply. It has been 15 business days since placing the order and nothing, no merchandise received and no reply to my emails. "I made an order of over 200.00 on this site 4 days ago and all the support and help links are now sending delivery failure notifications. This is just my luck.
