"I am currently in the process of fixing up and building a MAME arcade cabinet. After shopping around for awhile I found that JammaBoards.com offered fairly competitive prices when it came to hardware, they are also one of the few people who operate within the continental USA. For whatever reason it seems a large majority of arcade parts providers operate outside the USA and this causes the costs of shipping to be quite expensive.
I placed my order a week ago, it took them three days to process and ship out my order. I am now waiting on the arrival of my order and at this point I have to say their shipping process is painfully slow.
I paid for priority mail shipping which means I should have gotten my package within 2 to 3 days, as of right now I should be able to expect my package on 06/25/2012, coming closer to a week.
I also don't like the tracking system they use, it appears instead of having shipments picked up from their facility directly from USPS they let another company handle processing the packages, which then goes to USPS where they can finally process the packages to be sent out, which causes even more delays. If I had wanted to wait a week for my package, I would have paid LESS for shipping.
I will followup on this review once I get the package in the mail, but as of right now, I am incredibly disappointed with the speed in which they have processed my order.
Edit: On 06/25/2012 I got my order from Jamma Boards. It came in a small package, nothing comes boxed, it was all in plastic bags or wrapped in bubble wrap.
Everything looks OK, but the joystick I ordered, one of the metal tabs for the connectors was bent out of place and I had to bend it back into place.
All in all I am not sure if I'd order with Jamma Boards again, I am not uhappy with their products, just their shipping time and process. "
