What we didn't expect was the existing lamp lasted another 10 months. Meantime we stored our new lamp. Last week our timer ran out on the old bulb (even though its still works) I decided to replace the lamp. After replacing the lamp and powering up the Projector, The brightness was barely visable. I mean it was bad. I reached out to Jaspertronics to see if I was doing something wrong. I was informed that more than the warranty period 90 Days had expired. I could understand that as nearly 10 month had gone by. However talking to there tech support they said that Non OEM lamps only have about 50% brightness of the original OEM
product. Well Daah. Who in there right mind would sell a product with only 50% of the brightness and I would have never purchased a non OEM if I was well informed as the original OEM product is onl a $15 more at Jaspertronics. Shame on Jaspertronics. Honestly can't recommended this company at all if there was a negative number it would be -10 "
"I bought from JasperTronics a replacement bulb for my epson home cinema 5030UB on march 19 2022. I installed it as soon as it arrived and lasted about 6 hours. After that I was told that they received a bad batch and would send a new lamp as a replacement as soon as possible but they didn't know when. In the meantime I bought another lamp somewhere else and that one also lasted only few hours. I took the projector for a checkup in case the issue was with the projector. It turns out that most of these lamps are not assembled according to epson standards, eg the wires are not the right gauge etc. that's why they burn easily. I now have an original epson lamp and case and all is working fine again. I did inquiry with Jaspertronics to return their poorly assembled lamp and they are not interested in taking it back. If you want a proper lamp that lasts avoid JasperTronics that's my advice."

"I ordered a projector bulb with a 240 day warranty. The bulb failed (shattered internally) about 180 days later. When I contacted Jaspertronics to initiate a warranty claim, they asked for photos of the broken bulb so they could start the process of replacing it. Hannah Smith received the photos and informed me that this did not appear to be the bulb they sent me, and that it should have a red/white sticker on the base. I explained that it never had a sticker, and that this is without a doubt the same bulb they sent me (I have only ordered from Jaspertronics - never anywhere else, and am 100% certain about this!!!). Hannah agreed to provide a shipping label so that I could return the bulb and they could take a closer look. After they received the return, I got an email from Dalton Ikenberry informing me that their manufacturer denied the warranty claim because it was not their bulb! I called customer service and Dalton answered. I explained that this was DEFINITELY the same bulb they had shipped to me, and if it was from a different manufacturer, then Jaspertronics would have to have sourced it somewhere else at that time. There is no other possible explanation, except that I am a liar or an idiot, which is essentially what Dalton accused me of during my phone conversation with him. I had positive experiences with Jaspertronics previously, so this is very unexpected and frustrating. I am now wondering if these bulbs are even of the quality they advertise or just knock-offs they tout as OEM. The longer warranty was the main reason I purchased this bulb from Jaspertronics in the first place. I still cannot believe that my only recourse at this point is to help others by warning them with this review. Steer clear of Jaspertronics.com and save yourself a lot of frustration!
UPDATE 01/17/22: I received an email today from Dalton informing me that their manufacturer still denied that this lamp was theirs, but that he had escalated my claim internally and received approval from an administrator to send a replacement lamp. I am now satisfied with the outcome, though wish I would not have had to go through so much hassle for a simple warranty claim. Review upgraded from 1 to 3 stars. Thank you Jaspertronics and Dalton for making this right."

Jaspertronics.com 229 East 4th street Carthage MO 64846 . Phone: ***-***-**** . Had a really bad experience with this company. The bulb or lamp for my TV did not fit. They assured me it was correct. So i tried and tried and tried some more to make the projection bulb fit. It clearly did not fit. Contacted Jasper electronics and they tried to tell me it was my tv. That somehow my tv had gotten hot and warped and thats why thier correct bulb/projection lamp, would not fit. I argued and told them it was thier lamp that was made incorrectly. I compared it with my old lamp and could see the fitting on thier lamp was more crudely manufactured. The rep then wanted me to switch out the box on my old lamp with what they sent me. I wasted so much time with this company and it was so frustratring . I told them i wanted to ruturn it. They insisted i had to get permission to return it. A lot of needless drama. I finally was.... ALLOWED..... to return thier bulb and then of course did not recieve my refund. had to go hunting for it. Jasper Employee said she was sorry by email, Just had not got around to it. As you can see this is a fine dispaly of thier customer service. When i did finally get the refund, it was docked a restocking fee and I had to pay for shipping to return. This company is a rip off and very incompetent. They cost me a lot of wasted time and money. They care so little for thier customers. Trust me once they get your money, you better hope it fits and works because they do not allow returns or give refunds easily. It was extremely difficult to ever get a portion of my money back. I ordered a new lamp from projector lamp.com and it came the next day. I Opened the box and the new lamp from a much better company than this one, effortlessly glided into the back of my tv and has functioned flawlessly since. So much for my tv being old and warped ! lol Use Jasper electronics at your own risk. You have been warned. RAYN"
