"Had a great experience. Bought my first Nikon (d90) And Greg was a huge help. He actually talked me out of my original lens that i wanted and set me up with one that was less money and the pictures are amazing! I was sent the wrong camera bag and I called the next day-- no hassles no questions he sent a new one right out. I will 100% use them again"

"Upon calling to confirm my order, I was told that the camcorder does not come with battery, ac adapter, and the other accessories listed as "INCLUDED ACCESSORIES." It was just a camcorder and absolutely nothing else. Instead they wanted me to "upgrade" the kit I had ordered to receive all items. Immediately after my call, they deleted that section from the website and canceled my order via email."

"I was uncertain of what kind of customer service I could expect from Jersey Shore Digital (JSD) after I read the on-line tirades and criticisms I discovered AFTER I ordered my Canon EOS-40D, body only. I have purchased about $25,000 worth of equipment over the past 40 years, mostly Canon, from all the major photographic outfits. They all gave me just what I ordered - no muss, no fuss. I may have even ordered equipment from a predecessor of JSD.

I hoped that I could buy a new, US, EOS-40D even though they were out of production and replaced by the 50D. The 50D has received so-so ratings. JSD had one, even though they had to bastardize a kit to sell me one. I was able to register it on-line with Canon, so I know it is a US version.

Sales rep Greg was pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable during my order, suggesting upgrades as ALL the photo sales reps have done with me. I figure I paid full bore for the camera (no free ride with the major photo outfits; they'll get a litte more out of you one way or another). The biggest surprise was the insurance and handling charge of $47.50. I haven't ordered in a long time.

I reveived third day UPS ground delivery (to middle TN) so it was very much on time. The Canon US guarantee card was missing, but all other documentation was included. Canon did not reject my registration. I have had to return only one camera to Canon in 40 years for warranty service.

I'm still in the process of selecting a Canon lens and other Canon peripherals for my new EOS-40D, but when I order I expect I will receive the same level of service again with JSD, or as with any other major photo supplier.

"This online store is misleading. I ordered a Canon XSi w/ the 2 lens package. When I called to comfirm my order I was told the lens were brand 'New!' that is the name of the brand. I assumed when it said new it meant new as new and not old. Of course they have the package I want at a much higher price. I've never heard of a brand called New!. I want Canon lens not a brand I never heard of! Everything should be listed on the webpage outright. There should not be ANY surprises when you call them. For these reasons I will stay with the companies I've bought from before (Dell, Walmart) I have not had any problems or surprises with them. I've received what I paid for. "

"I purchased a Canon EOS 50D from Jersey Shores Digital. When I contacted them regarding my oder the representative I spoke with did not try to sell me the entire warehouse as other distributors had. I just needed the body as I have other Canons with all the accessories I would need for the 50D. I upgraded from a gray market body to a US body and the agent upgraded shipping for me. He asked about service contracts and I explained I'm a member of Canon Pro. He told me I was all set them. No pressure, no hard sell just really good service. Delivery was just when he said it would be. Best experience I've had with any of the digital warehouses ever. Not to mention best prices. When I need digital equipment again they will be my first stop - sorry Digital Liquators and B and H Photo. "

"ordered a D90 body for $779. Was contacted to provide additional credit card security data. then I was told that version is not U.S. by Nikon but imported, including suggestion to buy accessories and extra warranty package. I am not convinced that the site listing (for this D90) is explicit about this being a Non US version. I canceled the order; what a waste of time based on a misleading purchase listing."

"They offer low pricing,and on the phone offer additional advice to get the most for my money. I bought the extra warranty for my Sony A700 camera, which kicks in after the original warranty,for example. So important, as repairs can be expensive for electronics. The package arrived quickly and safely just a few days later. Everything was there, as promised. Registering the extra warranty online was simple."
