"I use Jet.com and, for the most part, am very satisfied but sometime, like this last order, there was a problem. I ordered kitty litter, cooking spray and angel hair pasta. Since there is always the possibility of leakage from the kitty litter, I thought it would come separate from the food but, no. Someone, in their infinite wisdom, decided to throw the food items, loose, in wth the litter. As a result, the litter wasn't secure and the weight of it crushed the pasta, knocked the tops off the vegetable spray resulting in spilled litter adhering to the oil from the cans of spray, The pasta and the litter bucket were also covered in oil and litter and quite a mess. I was able to return the pasta but the spray was non-returnable (I returned it anyway) and kept the litter which was down by a quarter. So, in the future I will NOT order litter and food items at the same time just to be on the safe side."
"Things were packed so poorly that the liquid part of the order ruined the rest of the order. To my pleasant surprise, Jet did replace the damaged products and gave future credit. So I from a one star up to a 4 star in rating."

"After making a $1500 order, Jet.com placed my order on hold. They initially placed my order on hold and stated that I needed to call them in order to process my order. I contacted them, they verified my billing address and my shipping address (I ship my orders to work for security, since boxes tend to disappear from my front doorstep magically). The next day, they send me an e-mail stating that I need to photo copy them a copy of my Driver's License and Debit Card. While I appreciate the added layer of security, it's not worth my information running around the net. "

"The prices might be good, but the level of service and packaging quality is horrible. We've ordered a dining table that came 3 days later than promised, with broken base and chipped leg. According to the "amazing" rules, the return can be arranged only after 3 days, so we ended up with a super heavy glass table top at the middle of the dining room (we cannot lift and move it, so have to wait for the pick up). In addition to this, return of the money for the defective order will take another 10 business days PLUS another 10 business days for getting a replacement. That's the worst experience I've ever had, so will definitely recommend everyone to go for a slightly more expensive, but much more reliable provider"
"I bought two wall mounted desk because I got a good price on them. When they arrived one of the boxes had wholes with the screws to the desk falling out. It looked like someone had taken handfuls of screws and bolts and thrown them on top of the boards. The styrofoam was crumbled and the boards were scratched and damaged. The second box looked like someone had opened it and then used a whole roll of packing tape to close it again. I'm very unsatisfied with my purchase. The customer service was quick to send me return labels and I hope I get my money back!!"
"While Jet.com may have (keyword: MAY, not always the case) have lower prices, it has the poorest invoicing we have witnessed in all of our years of e-commerce shopping. In fact, Jet.com does NOT provide an invoice at all.
Your invoice, or "receipt," consists of one continuous page of ALL items purchased, i.e., your ENTIRE history of purchases on one continuous page. This may be okay with regards to consumer goods (household and food items) but not for high value technology items, making any possible manufacturer warranty claims for Jet.com purchases EXTREMELY difficult.
Generating an invoice/receipt requires Adobe Acrobat or an Acrobat compatible application to save a copy of your transactions. If you go back into your Jet.com account to print a receipt for a particular item, once more, ALL items purchased since that specific purchase will be grouped together, on ONE CONTINUOUS page. Therefore it is strong recommended to AVOID purchasing technology items of any value from Jet.com to avoid future manufacturer warranty claims issues.
Again, one continuous page of ALL purchases vs. individual, itemized and detailed invoices/receipts for each order/purchase: very annoying, very problematic when submitting warranty claims to manufacturers for faulty products.
Jet.com, you invested in an e-commerce start-up, at least provide the courtesy and professionalism of itemized, detailed invoices/receipts for each order (separate invoices/receipts for individual orders) like other reputable, professional e-commerce vendors do. You may want to look at B&H Photo for an excellent example. We've opted to avoid Jet.com for future purchases until such time that Jet.com management can provide "normal," individual invoices/receipts for EACH order, vs. one continuous page listing ALL purchases. It is highly recommended that others do the same, especially for the aforementioned technology items."
"I ordered an item (that I can only find online) for a project for college two weeks ago in preparation for an assignment. The item never showed up so I tracked it and they delivered it to the wrong address (even though the address I gave them was the right one). I contacted them and was told that the item I ordered was no longer in stock by that company so I would have to reorder. The only problem is I needed the item yesterday and now I am stuck without the materials I need and a deadline just around the corner. They did offer me a free shipping credit on my next order but that doesn't do me any good now and I won't be ordering from them again anyway. "
