"I ordered on Thursday. No one at Jet.com had any idea when the package would arrive, other than that the first shipment left the warehouse at 4:09PM on Friday and that deliveries were usually made before 6:30PM. I received a text message that a package had been delivered at 8:15PM. However, it really didn't arrive until 9:30PM. Delivery person brought the package up to my fourth floor apartment and left before I could give him a tip. My second shipment, of perishables, arrived Saturday afternoon. This package was left outside of the front door of my apartment house. No one rang my buzzer and no text message was received. Luckily a neighbor noticed the package and rang my buzzer. Nothing was spoiled, because the five pounds of perishables were surrounded by 20 pounds of refreezable ice packs.
The pricing was "moderate", by New York standards (e.g., $21.49 for Kirkland cashews versus $19.25 at Costco). I didn't mind how long it took to receive delivery and will lower my expectations in the future."
"Shipping takes forever, and if they lose your package they don't even care!!! They will make u wait for this package to arrive, which is nowhere to be found and cannot be tracked, in order to get ur money back!!! Customer service is a joke!! They all have attitudes and seem like their hate their job!!! If I was working for minimum wage I would too I assume... Supervisor Don H. is super rude and condescending!!! "We ordered a cage ball that according to the website was a full set. When we looked into purchasing the larger size and called we were told our order was the cover only which is Not what the website had described. After placing an order for the bladder of the ball we thought all would be fine. The following day we received a call from the company shipping the cover. It was backordered and they were canceling the order. After speaking to them and confirming the cancellation we called jet.com to get the bladder cancelled. We were told it was in the processing progress. I called the company handling the shipping and they had no record of it. I called back jet.com and was told it was out of their hands and they couldn't cancel it. I had them email a return label but am waiting to again call the shipping company to see if they have the order in the morning. "
"After a week the product did not ship. In spite of this, they still will NOT allow you to cancel. Newegg.com allows you to cancel, even if it a marketplace order (another vendor). Jet.com is unable to get any update from the vendor. You are basically held hostage for as long as they want. You don't get your product. You don't get a status update. And you CAN'T CANCEL. Horrible."
