"So, I found them by seeing their advertisement for job openings for the Forestry Department "in my area" on a news site I frequent. Knowing that this is the type of job my brother has been looking for, I clicked the ad knowing I would probably need to fill out a questionnaire of some sort. One of the questions they asked was about whether I was interested in continuing my education. It was a checkbox, which I checked because, well, sure, both my brother and I are always interested in learning. Well, the first failure was that they didn't present any forestry jobs "in my area." So I considered the entire process a loss. But they then called me up the next morning to speak with me about my interest in furthering my education. At first they seemed polite and I told them that I was trying to help my brother find a job. "Mm-hmm, mm-hmm" she said, trying to hurry me past the explanation of why I signed up for their service, and again pressured me on the education point only. At that point I felt pretty ignored, but I told her that I was currently taking training courses with my current employer and wouldn't be able to go back to college at this time. She said "do you need another three months to think about it?" I replied "I probably wouldn't be able to get back to college in the next two to three years in my current situation." And then she hung up Immediately! No "good bye" or "thank you for your time," nope, just a flat out hang up. I obviously felt pretty ticked off by their rudeness and their lack of interest in my reasons for going through the time to sign up for their helpless service. They completely failed in finding jobs they advertised as available, and then they topped it off by being rude to me over the phone. Stay away from these people! They are a scam, not a job service!"
"Job searching online and Jobhat came up and I filled some stuff out. Got a call from them asking questions about school or what not, then he gets to wanting me to say “yes” to allowing them to give out my number and I stop him to question it and he simply hangs up. "
"I signed up for this website because it listed a job opening for Frito Lay. I just received an email from Jobhat saying Frito Lay is interested in my resume. I clicked on the link in the email. It took me to another page that had Frito Lay on it but it asked me to upload my resume which I already did two weeks ago when I first signed up. So why do they need my resume again? The bottom of the page had an ad for higher education which I don't need or want. I have a BA in Business Administration that I obtained in December 2000. I'm still paying on my student loans and that degree hasn't opened a single door for me. So why would I go back into debt for higher education at this stage in my life? I'm about to turn 45 in a couple weeks, and I have bills to pay. I can't afford to go back to school unless it's free. I noticed since I signed up for Jobhat I've been getting massive amounts of emails from colleges and universities, health insurance, dental, car, and burial insurance. I've even been getting emails from dating websites and from strangers offering me **** and **** pics or they ask me for **** and **** pics. I've been getting emails saying that my account has been hacked. You name it I've been receiving it. Don't sign up for anything on Jobhat. "
"Job hat sends me job updates all the time. The emails are always miss leading and sent just to have their users view more job listings. They literally just sent me an inquiry for a “work from home position” with Amazon. After I clicked to see what the job was Jobhat’s site showed me a page of job listings for Favor. Not one listing was a “work from home position” or a position with Amazon. They were just all jobs delivering food for Favor. Wtf? Absolutely terrible. Worst experience with a job site I have ever had. "
"There emails lie and now there having SSI CALL ME EVERY DAY
Of you have had similar experience report them to there server- ****@****, the BBB, FTC, & FCC
Do not give jobhat.com any of your personal information.
And add them to your email block filters. And let your fellow job seek know!"
"This site is a scam and needs to be shut down. It isn’t a real job site, they just want your personal info to sell to other companies and make money off of, so don’t give them any info and exit immediately. Find a real job site instead."
"Site is a scam. Send jobs you get excited about and they've never been available. "
"Spammed my inbox and signed me up for an account I didn't ask for, had never heard of them before this point and was not looking for a job. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY, I NEVER EVEN ASKED FOR THEIR SERVICES AND THEY STILL SIGNED ME UP. I WAS NOT LOOKING FOR A JOB. I will immediately tell all my friends what a flaming piece of garbage this company is. "
"I tried to unsubscribe from jobhat to no avail. Sends job notices for any thing. Please stop."
"I wouldn't even give I star if that was an option. Worst phone call ever. Rude beyond rude. I wouldn't apply for a job through this company for anything at this point. "
"So im trying to find work, made the foolish mistake of using this site and even filling out an application for CVS through them which turn out to be faux. This kind of scam should be criminal. And anytime im on my phone trying to reach out to companies and agencies looking for hiring details I get inundated with calls trying to enroll me into online school. Their jobs are as real as the news. "
"Not interested in helping you get a job, they just want to call you constantly about enrolling in school. I am 53 with bills ,I am not interested in going back to school.
"
"Absolute waste!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"they sell your contact information so you end up with unwanted emails from insurance, health insurance, you name it for stuff you are not interested in. I wish I never touched this site"
"Jobhat and jobcase are scam sites"
