"I recently bought a pricey stroller from joggingstroller.com, based on positive reviews & a good price. The package came on time, but was missing parts, so I contacted the company to have them send me the missing peices. Three weeks later, 11 attempts to contact them and no response, I realized despite the boasts on the website regarding fantastic customer service, email address, phone number (promising to return calls within 24 hours) and online forms, there's some fine print under "contact us" that says they have discontinued ALL customer service. There is simply no way to contact them at all (that they respond to). So now I have a completely useless stroller that I cannot get the parts to! DO NOT BUY FROM JOGGINGSTROLLER.COM!!!"
"I don't recommend purchasing anything from these people. I ordered the stroller kit attachment for a Chariot bike trailer. The kit includes two wheels, a parking brake, and a handlebar. ALL THEY SENT ME WAS THE HANDLEBAR! It was obvious that parts had fallen off the internal packaging before they boxed it. The internal packaging was a mess with torn cardboard and broken ties where the parts obviously should have been. Whoever boxed it up that way was clearly just too lazy to do anything about it and sent it along anyways. I asked them to fix the situation. They could have just sent me the rest of the parts which were no doubt rolling around their warehouse somewhere but they insisted on making me return what they had sent.
THE RETURN PROCESSS WITH THESE PEOPLE IS A NIGHTMARE! They are too cheap to pay for pickup service and force you to take the item to a staffed FedEx location. If I wanted to travel somewhere to make this purchase I wouldn't have ordered online in the first place! You cannot drop your item at a drop box or Kinko's or the like because actual FedEx staff have to print the shipping label. The first time I tried this the staff at my local FedEx location couldn't get the label to print. I took it back a week later and after a good 20 minutes of wrangling with their computer, the FedEx staff was finally able to print a label. So another week goes by and I receive the new package. Same external box, same beat-up interior packaging, but this time they managed to throw in the parts that should have been attached in the first place. Bottom-line: These people are careless and if you have to return something don't expect it to be convenient or quick."
"I would strongly recommend NOT SHOPPING from this vendor. Please be aware of terrible attitude of their customer service. Granted that the incident involved a mistake on my side during the online ordering process, their response to my effort to correct the mistake was beyond ludicrous.
I was shopping for baby items (due in May), and I needed to buy a parasol and a Graco car seat connector for the Bugaboo frog stroller we have. I checked out Epinion.com about this vendor's reputation and felt comfortable enough to purchase these items from them. Incidentally, I was very sick with cold on that day and was not 100% alert. I went through their online ordering process and accidentally typed in the quantity of the car seat connector as '2' instead of '1'. Immediately after I pressed the "confirm order" button, I realized the mistake and called their customer service. The time elapsed from the point of online order confirmation and the time of call could not have been more than 10 secs since it was literally immediately after the confirmation I realized what happened.
I quickly explained the situation and asked if they could cancel the order or edit the order so that I purchase only 1 car seat connector. Their first response was that it was not their fault and thus they can not cancel or edit the order. They told me that I have to go through the return process by shipping the item back to them after I receive it. I could not believe it. I just placed an order 10-20 secs ago and they told me that I have to go through the whole hoopla of returning the item (and have to pay for shipping myself). When I challenged them on how ridiculous the situation is, they then changed their story and said that their computer system is super-efficient and thus the item is already loaded onto a truck and it is too late to pull it out. I told them it is physically impossible for them to load this item on a truck since I placed the order online less than a few minutes ago (a few minutes have passed during our phone conversation). But they insisted that their system is so efficient that things happen instantaneously. Their story was so beyond belief that I could not even laugh. When I insisted that they talk to someone in their shipping dock to see if they can pull the item out, they pretended to talk to someone and told me that it is already in a truck and that they can not pull it out.
I do not care how super efficient a company's operation is. There is no way an online order can be shipped out within a couple of minutes. I just could not believe what was happening.
But they were not going to budge and there was nothing I could do.
As a result, I now have to wait to receive 2 car seat connectors and then go through the whole return process (pay out of my pocket for shipping back). I have never experienced such incredible scums in my life. It was absolutely terrible and the worst online shopping experience of my life."
"Very good service. I ordered an accessory for our Bob Duallie Stroller (which we bought through REI) When you order, you end up being directed to "nicheretail.com," which I suppose is the owner of joggingstroller.com. You fill out all your info, confirm your order and that's it. The only drawback is that you are provided your fedex tracking number a few hours later, otherwise a very good online retailer. I would buy from them again. "
