"Placed an order in mid October. The site stated it was a minimum processing time of 21 days. Fine.

I never received the order. There's a big difference between a long time and not at all.

Went to the site, and it's been shut down. I contacted my credit card to file a dispute.

"On November 8th 2010, I ordered a WD Hard drive. Joorat took my money and I never received anything. Very Bad Business, Stay Away, these people steal your money, they are criminals!

I never received a refund. I tried everything to contact them. I called their phone number 1-***-***-****. I faxed them at: 1-***-***-****.

I also put in a complaint to the Attorney General and to Internet Crime Complaint Center at:

http://www.ic3.gov/contact/default.aspx

The Consumer Protection Division in Maryland’s Attorney General’s Office.

I put in a Help Ticket at the Joorat website which apparently is now a dead website.

I also contacted my bank and the online Verification.
Verified Illusion Merchant. The symbol on the Joorat website when it was up.

If anyone else has any ideas please let me know.

"Ordered 2 headphones on Nov 14. I am yet to receive them. I check back on the status of the order every week and it lept saying "processing". I was in no hurry for the headphones, but then when I checked their website today, it was down. I now have to try to get my money back from my CC company even though I have already paid for that charge in December.

Again DO NOT BUY from the seller.

"DO NOT I repeat, DO NOT order from this company! I placed an order back in November hoping it would be here by December (more than ample time). I never received anything. As stated by others when you call there is only a recording and you cannot leave a message because the box is always full. Probably lodged with many complaints. I suggest if you can have your attorney get involved and also contact the BBB. I have been waiting for my refund for months and it seems clear that they have no intention of ever refunding my money. What they are doing is completely illegal! "

"I ordered an item costing roughly $70.00 in late October. To this date, I have never received any feedback on my order. Now, when you call their number, a message plays saying they have had a computer error and that all orders are being refunded (I never got a refund here).

I did a bit of research and found that they only have two employees (probably the guy who runs the scam-erm-I mean, site, and his sister). I tried contacting them through email, fax, and through phone, and was never able to reach them. If you placed an order with them, it is clear that you will never receive your item. For their victims, I recommend immediately filing a claim with your bank or credit card company, and reporting them to the BBB.

As I write this review, their site seems to be down. They probably pulled the website after all or the negativity, and it's a good thing they did. Hopefully no more people with be scammed out of their money.

In summary, this was the worst online experience of my life.

By the way, I ordered the same item from newegg.com. It was delivered in two days. They are great!

"I agree with all the other posts. JOORAT is a scam. Don't waste your time ordering anything from this organization. They are not legit, they have no customer service, support or anything. They just have the ability to process your credit card amount and then drift off into the night. Don't expect what you ordered. Expect only to have your credit card debited. WARNING: If you deal with JOORAT, you WILL be scammed!!! I was."

"I'm having the same issues as everyone else. I noticed that all of the bad reviews started the day after I placed my order. Unfortunately a review before ordering wouldn't have helped me. Hopefully enough people will see this and avoid this "company". I've filed complaints with my bank, the Maryland Attorney Generals office, and the internet crime unit of the FBI. Stick with Newegg.com."

"11/3/10: Order placed. JOORAT says 14-21 BUSINESS DAYS. I wrote e-mail on 11/25. NO REPLY. I gave 21 business days until 12/6/10 when I contacted AMEX and disputed the charge due to NON DELIVERY.

12/11/2010: NOTHING received and no reply to my 11/25/10 e-mail.

Due to everything I read about this company AFTER I ordered I did not call (other's say "no answer" or "full mailbox"). I sent an e-mail (so document it all) on 11/25/10. NO Reply 12/12/10.
AMEX will get my money back...but not until Feb. 18, 2011

I needed to NOT look ONLY at the price BUT LOOK AT THE COMPANY's reviews ON LINE. I consider myself a savvy on-line consumer. With JOORAT, I was not keen and understanding. I have learned my lesson. Learn from my mistakes. DO A WEB SEARCH OF THE COMPANY.

I am doing a web-search and due diligence this time during my RE-purchase of the same item. The item costs only 6usd more on a 300+ item from a reputable company, NOT JOORAT

Suggestions:
1) ALWAYS WEB search REVIEWS of the company from whom you purchase items--(unless you know from YOUR experience to trust them).
2) USE a credit card (CC) that you know can easily dispute charges using their on-line site. I used to have to write/mail letters and photo copy info for a CC dispute. AMEX makes it easy for me.

JooRat.com takes time and life out of you. Their website name says it all. I should have known BUT I learned. So I hope you will learn and be a savvy on-line consumer.

"Just like most others here, I too made a purchase from Joorat.com. The website showed the products to be in stock. My order has shown as "processing" since a day or two after my order. It has been a month and a week now, and I have sent 3 messages to Joorat but never received a response. I just filed a claim with my bank to get credited back for the purchase. This company is awful...not legit! Stay away!!!"

"Same experience as everyone else. No communication other than order acknowledgement. Card charged two days later. Three and a half weeks later no delivery. Their voicemail says fatal system error with computer system orders prior to this date are refunded and canceled. SCAM!!!!!!!"

"HORRIBLE! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. placed order on 11-9-10, it is 12-7-10 STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY ORDER!. sent 2-3 "quick ticket" emails and one thru their amazon service, NO RESPONSE. A truly useless , selfish and misleading company that only "processes" your order while in the meantime check your bank account/paypal/credit card! "Scam, fraud, rip-off! Placed an order on 11/17/10, charge posted to my bank account and never received a shipping confirmation and never got the order. I did receive an email that my bank account was charged! During the order process, I got a message that I could set up my account "later" in the transaction so that I could track the order. Unfortunately, that didn't happen, so I have no product, and no way to track the status. I have emailed them twice with my order number and gotten no response. Called them today and got a message that they had experienced a "fatal computer system error and any order placed prior to this date would be cancelled and money refunded". Who knows how long that recording has been on their voice mail. Called bank today and filed a dispute. This is NOT A LEGITIMATE COMPANY! "
