"Worst online ordering in over 10 years of internet purchasing - horrendous. Took over an hour to complete the order and still not sure if the product will ever ship.

"Customer service" is in Manilla, and it's obvious they are pretty much clueless / inept (but blame corporate management vs. the helpless / clueless reps).

This site is owned by DIGITAL RIVER, one of the worst companies in online marketing I have ever experienced.

"HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!! Both times I called, it took me 30 and 2nd time, 45 minutes to speak with someone. They are VERY slow in processing the student verification (5 days!) I canceled my order a few minutes after I placed it, but still got charged. Today, after being on hold for a long time - and the LAST time with them, I'm told that it has to go to the "Escalation Dept" to get processed and they may not refund my money. After being very frustrated while speaking with the customer service rep, I explained all that happened, and that I would never order from the company again. All she said was, "Is there anything else you need help with?" Students are extremely busy and need an easier way to deal with purchasing necessary items. However, I would rather pay extra and deal with a company that didn't put me through all the frustration."

"Horrible! Will never use again! After mailing the wrong item to me, they offers to refund my shipping (only after much arguing). But I must pay to ship it back & wait for them to reprocess it. Will be without my much needed software for 2 more weeks. Long wait on all calls to customer service !!unhelpful operators !! Very dissatisfied customer!"

"This is another example of the down-turn in Customer service. Placing your order is very simple, they make this relatively painless except for the unusually high number of broken links. Journey Ed is based out of Texas and as any online shopper knows you don't pay tax on products purchased online unless the you live in the same state as the seller. I live in Missouri and as stated before, they are based in Texas, so I shouldn't pay tax on my purchases. I ordered a software package and was charged $44.58 in tax. When I tried to contact them to correct this error, I had a 25 min hold time. Once I spoke with a representative the advised me that their company policy was to charge tax on all orders. I informed them this practice was illegal and if they did not refund my $44.58, I would pursue a lawsuit. The $44.58 isn't a huge amount but for this company to charge this on every purchase just to pad their bottom line is wrong. There are many other education resellers out there and I will be using one of those in the future. "

"Easy to place order. Difficult to have it shipped. Was sent an invalid tracking number by journey ed. The tracking number was for an item that was delivered already 10 months ago. Still waiting for my correct delivery info. Trying to have an order filled and delivered is a hassle and time consuming.

update-after 3 phone calls and several emails with incorrect shipment info. I finally reached someone who know what they were talking about and was very helpful. Finally, I got the corrected information emailed to me.

"I ordered a product on July 22, 2010. It's now August 13, 2010 and they still haven't sent the product. It's only a license number that they will send by email. I contacted them through their online contact form, but they didn't reply. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone I considered a friend. "

"I paid a bunch extra for the overnight shipping on a copy of Lightroom and called to make sure that it would ship immediately - my trial ran out and I needed it to get some work done. They said everything went through fine and it would come through the next business day.

Two and a half weeks later it shipped... No explanation from them and they didn't respond to e-mails about it.

Go somewhere else.

"This company is terrible! They do not process orders within a week (even though other software download sites process them instantly). They do not pick up their phone! After waiting on hold for 26 minutes to talk to customer service about my order that was never being processed, they simply transferred me to a voicemail box of a "supervisor" which only had time for a 15 second message--not even enough for my name, order number and contact information. This company deserves to be fired by every university!"

"NEVER buy from this horrid company. I ordered MS Office 2010 Pro Plus. It was to be a download. The directions they sent for the download clearly stated I would get MS Office Professional Plus 2010. I did not. I got a file that seems to be Business Contact Manager. I will never use and DID NOT WANT this program. Repeated emails are unanswered. Calls: after ONE HOUR on hold, the person did not know a solution and I was summarily disconnected. (An easy way to deal with issues you do not intend to fix, I suppose!) I am disputing the charge with my credit card company and have since ordered from another company. Stay away!!! A rip-off outfit."

"This is my second order from Journey Ed. The first one wasn't without incident and I should have learned my lesson. I place my order almost 2 weeks ago, the customer support people told me the product was backordered from the software developer. I contacted the software developer, there is plenty of product in stock. My gut feeling is that Jouney Ed orders product from the software developers when orders are placed and they don't keep product in stock, or at least not popular products. If you're willing to wait, I'm sure they will eventually deliver, but I'm giving up on Journey Ed. Good luck!"

"Last month I ordered the student edition of Adobe Creative Suite 5 Master collection from https://www.journeyed.com/. Normally I use Amazon or another reputable online vendor. I went with journeyed.com/ for 2 reason.

1. The price was (at the time) $150 less then Amazon.
2. I had read allot of reviews about issue with getting activation from Adobe for educational version sold through Amazon.

Since I really needed to upgrade to a legit version of the software my back was against the wall. I canceled my order with Amazon and placed it with journeyed.com/. I sent them all the proof they required to prove I'm a student and tried to do everything on my part to insure that my order was in no way delayed.

Tuesday the 25th was the date Amazon had originally given me that the product would ship, prior to my canceling the order with them. I double checked this and waited till yesterday to call journeyed.com/ to find out why my product hadn't shipped (thinking there was additional paperwork they needed form me).... not the case.

Apparently they are having trouble with their website (this has been their excuse for the last 7 years apparently) and my order that was listed as pending, was infact backordered... funny, since most businesses will contact you via e-mail or with a phone call to let you know the product is backordered so you can make other arrangements depending on the costumes situation... again, not the case.

Long and short, I thought I was getting a great deal, and even called to verify what I thought I was getting was infact what I had ordered and made some other general inquires since the price really was too good to be true.

Now journeyed.com/ can't tell me exactly when my order will ship and now, even if I wanted to cancel my order with them I'd be paying almost 300 dollars for the same product elsewhere as the "preorder deals' are all gone from the net.

I now know why journeyed.com/ was so much cheaper, because I'm probably never going to see the product and certainly not in the time frame I needed it (two day shipping from Texas should have been a clue this was a priority).

Sadly, I'm not the only one to have this problem. Websearch "customer complaints journyed.com" and see for yourself. This company has had 33 complaints filed with the BBB, all pertaining to the same type of issues and they are marketed directly to the education industry which really is despicable.

"Worst purchasing experience ever. I ordered something, a MONTH later I was finally told it wasn't in stock, so I canceled the order. Three days later I was charged and told it shipped. Another three weeks later I received an email with download instructions. How was it not in stock if I download it?!? Customer service people are beyond incompetent. Their supervisors are worse if that is even possible. Don't buy anything from these people!!!!!"

"I am currently and have been on hold with www.journeyed.com for the past 40 minutes. They contacted me through email to tell me that my billing address did not match my card but I checked repeatedly and it was an exact match. It's funny though because even though the transaction was denied they were still abled to authorize my card twice for the transaction. I told them to cancel my order but they have yet to do that and the order status has not updated since the original order on 2/9/2010!

DO NOT BUY from this company! The only reason I did was because it was recommended and linked to through my school. I an beyond POed and considering filing a complaint with the BBB.
