3 Months to get my couch when ordered from the showroom.

"I had been so hopeful and grateful for what I thought was fantastic customer service despite 2 insane errors from Joybird. I originally ordered a couch directly from the showroom on Melrose Ave with a base discount of 35% in September and when the couch was delivered, it was the incorrect color, so I had to reject the order. The team was apologetic and offered another 5% off and helped me reorder the correct color, and I was told it would arrive in time for Thanksgiving.....the week of Thanksgiving comes around and I hear nothing, so I call them to be told I have no active orders. They were extremely apologetic and did some research and it turns out that someone in the warehouse cancelled my new order for some reason. So......I have to order the couch again, in which I was given another 5% off the order! That's awesome, right? For me to get 45% off the original couch price? I was so grateful. I reordered and then when I get off the phone I happen to be on there website and there is the couch I JUST ordered, listed online for 50% off.......so I call back moments after we placed my most recent order on the phone and the manager told me he would be happy to process the extra discount which could equate to another $35 off..... I rejected this, so frustrated because he was missing the point - I was now getting a worse deal than what is advertised. I didn't get ANY discounts for the inconvenience at this point. This company and the Melrose Showroom is just such a disappointment in how they handled my case. I should be getting a discount off of whatever the current price is, not what I bought it for in August. What a SCAM. BEWARE."

My Ordered has been canceled shortly before christmas

"I think your company was in a bad position with regard to some strikes in Canada in the sense of fulfilling orders during the critical crunch prior to Christmas. But I am disappointed in that fact that I got an email saying in essence 'don't worry, we are still on track to get you your package prior to Christmas' thus losing me more days in securing something else. I think I am at a point now where I may have lost my window of getting my wife her 'big' gift for Christmas and if you (who are reading this) are married, you should get that you have not helped in keeping a whole lot of joy in our relationship.

Going in person is the way to go!

"My boyfriend and I came in with some ideas in mind of what couch we wanted for our new apartment, and we left the showroom completely sold on a different couch that was not on our radar. Alex was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. He never pressured us to make a decision or make a sale (Which you can often see in many furniture stores) - I highly recommend going to the joybird showroom in Brooklyn, It was a wonderful and successful experience and I’m really looking forward to my new couch!"

Very slow and confusing

"Dimensions given included the cushion, which really doesn't help for navigating into a NYC apartment building (I ordered the chair and a half). Tried online customer service and the toll-free number to no avail. I finally called the local Manhattan store, and they were very helpful. They personally measured the chair and confirmed what I expected--the dimensions included the loose cushion, which of course is a game changer in terms of getting it through an apartment door and narrow hallway. This was exceptionally unclear on the website. I ordered the chair on December 2, but the swatches weren't even sent until December 8. The USPS link sent didn't work, couldn't even copy and paste the number, so carefully retyped it into USPS (arrives December 17). I feel like it will be Spring before I see this piece of furniture. First world problems, I know, but this whole model is based on online shopping. Anyway, the local store was helpful, but so far not super impressed with the online experience. Here's hoping the furniture is worth it. "
