Great experience

"I had a great experience shopping at Joybird. Matthew was so helpful in helping me pick out a fabric color for my sleeper sofa. I also bought an ottoman, bookcase and media counsel. I would definitely shop there again."

Cosmetic - the reason provided

"I went to the showroom on Feb 17th and worked with the design consultant and purchased the Eliot Sofa. The sofa was delivered on Feb 27th, by the way, great turnaround time. 3 days later, on Feb 29th, I noticed that the button on the cushion was not stitched properly and came loose, making it stick out from the other 8 buttons. I contacted the design consultant and she asked for pictures, which I provided, and she informed me that she would ask the warranty department to see what they can do. Unfortunately, since the button on the cushion is cosmetic, it was not covered as this was a clearance item and that my solution is to contact an upholsterer.

These are the reasons for 3 stars rating: 1) Policies for purchased item should have better customer support. Clearance item or not, stand by your product. It would be completely different if this was 3 months, I will even give it 3 weeks, from the delivery date. But 3 days and no help, that's questionable business practice. 2) JOYBIRD needs to be better with standing behind their quality and craftsmanship. "Our skilled workshop team holds themselves to the highest standards because we care." If this was true, they clearly missed the opportunity here.

The takeaway...shop around. Find a company that truly stands behind their quality and craftsmanship regardless if the item is on clearance or not. Just because their mission statement says it, they need to mean it.

Amazing! So excited!

"Joybird blew us out of the water! Loved the quality of the furniture, the different fabrics and colors, and the different styles! The staff at the Portland, OR showroom were amazing! Phone support -ordering -easy!

"I wanted to order the ‘quick-ship’ recliner. The website was suggesting that it may not be available so I called instead. They verified that it was in fact available, and we completed the order quickly.
The next day I was prompted to select a delivery date. Very easy!

Almost Perfect

"We love the product and the shelves were easy to hang. We would have given 5 stars but the shelves only came with screws, no anchors. Also, there was a large Warning sticker right on the wood shelf that was very difficult to remove. Trying to get the residue off without scratching the wood surface was next to impossible. "

Not honest about returns

"I had specifically asked about the return policy and not once was the restocking fee mentioned, I think this is a shady business practice and ultimately lead me to cancel my order. "
