This company is a total rip off! Ordered two coats, PayPal processed in Jan 2005, contacted NJ Office of Consumer Complaints, FBI, etc and still have not received my refund.

I understand from the ripoff.com website that you are the attorney for
Matthew Sherman/www.just-leather.com. I have been trying to get my $244
back from him since January and have filed numerous complaints with the
Trenton, NJ BBB, NJ Department of Consumer Affairs and the FBI.
Today I got a letter from NJ Dept of Consumer Affairs (case#50752) saying
that they cannot resolve my case becasue just-leather.com has gone out of
business -- yet their website is still up and operating and he continues
to rip people off! What gives?

I ordered two leather coats from www.Just-Leather.com on Dec 15, 2004 . On
Dec 27 I was
first told they were shipped and they would send tracking number. When I
got no tracking number and I contacted them again in Jan 2005 they said I
had never paid for the jackets so they were not shipped. I sent them a
copy of the bank details showing it was paid with no response. Paypal was
the method of payment so I filed a complaint through PayPal in March 2005
who ruled that Just-Leather was at fault but PayPal was unable to recover
funds. After many, many more emails to
Just-Leather they did acknowledge that the coats had been paid for and
asked what i wanted and I told them a refund. I have made many, many, many
more phone calls (which go directly to voicemail and are not returned) and
many, many more emails which are not answered and I still have no coats
and no money. if you check on

"I ordered a jacket from this company. My account was charged; however, I never received the product. My first email to them was answered. I was told that they "were sorry" and that my order was shipped. They also provided me with a tracking number from DHL. 1 month later, I still have not received my jacket. I have written several emails and have received no responses. I have left several messages via telephone with no return calls. I finally gave up and disputed the claim with my bank and received a refund of my money from the bank. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT do business with this company. You will get SCAMMED.
