"Ordered a pair of Philips HID bulbs and they turned out to be FAKE (Counterfit) bulbs as confirmed by PHILIPS. They will charge you shipping and restocking fee for returning FAKE items!!! And according to PHILIPS, they are NOT an Authorized Dealer."
"Ordered a fog light for my 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee. They don't fit and the company will not give me my money back because they say i attempted to install them. Don't buy anything from this company. They don't take care of customers. "
"Ordered a HID and LED fog light kit for my 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk JC-14-HAL and a Husky rear cargo liner.
I could not be happier with the HID kit! The install took me about an hour and it is so worth $189.99. I had a few questions which were answered right away by John at KBcarstuff. "
"Ordered an H11 HID Kit | Xtreme HID from XenonDepot (now KB Car Stuff) and started to have issues. I contacted KB Car Stuff to get their help but was told it must be my car (a brand new, Ford which I just bought 2 weeks ago). In pushing them further, they suggested I buy another item from them to correct the problem because my car has a canbus system - a system which is extremely common in newer vehicles. I don't know about you, but when I buy a "kit", I expect all the typical components to be there or at the very least, there to be a mention on the product page to notify users with these systems to make sure to purchase the other item. Ironically, the main product page talks about how this is "the number one rated HID kit..." and how cheap eBay kits tend to flicker yet their product did exactly that. To put it another way, their kit is a slice of bologna being sold as a filet mignon. They absolutely refused to help and after reading these other reviews, it sounds like I'm not the only one. I would not trust the reviews on their site either since they all appear to be very positive and glowing.
I ended up purchasing a very reasonable anti-flicker kit on Amazon for $8 shipped. I hooked it up and wouldn't you know, flawless! Needless to say, I will never be shopping with KB Car Stuff (formerly XenonDepot) again."
"We purchased several different items from this site all in one order. Everything was received except for some replacement bulbs. When we asked about the missing bulbs we were told that they were shipped separately and we were given a USPS tracking number for it. The tracking number was the number for the original shipment with all the other items. We were told they would have the post office investigate it. We have asked for a refund several times but they said since the item was shipped they are unable to issue a refund...yet we NEVER received the item or the correct tracking number for the item. Their solution to the problem is telling us we have to wait for the post office to investigate it and there is "nothing else they can do." After looking at several other sites where KB Car Stuff has reviews we realized this company has tons of complaints about the same kind of issues. We placed the order on 4/19/14 and it has yet to be resolved. Avoid ANY purchases with this company unless you plan to fork over money only to get nothing in return. Giving them a one star rating isn't even low enough. Not impressed with them AT ALL."
"Ordered canbus fix. Item arrived a month later because it wasn't in stock. Received the same generic item people sell on ebay for less than $10. I paid well over $25 thinking I would receive some quality item. I left review on their website which was promptly removed within an hour."
"Slow shipping, incompetent or dishonest customer service.
Ordered Weathertech car mats (liners) on Dec 3rd (total over 325 dollars). They shipped an incorrect item in the order. Called them about it and the customer service person said they shipped the product i ordered and didn't offer to take it back.
I went back to the order confirmation email and saw that they shipped the incorrect product (which was 20$ cheaper while charging the credit card for the right product). Called them again and gave them the details, he said he'll send an email with the details about returning the product. Received an email later in the day which read
"Please use the return label provided to send back the wrong cargo liners for an exchange. Once we receive them, we'll send you the correct ones."
There were no return label provided, so emailed them back asking them about it and received no reply. Called them the next day and he said they already created the return label and i should wait for 24 hours to receive the label via email. Waited 48 hours and still nothing. Called them again and finally received the email later in the day.
Shipped back the incorrect product on 12/22/12 using the return label provided and they seem to have used the cheapest and slowest option; the tracking says it reached them only on 01/02/2013.
My friends loved the liners but i did not recommend kbcarstuff with the poor customer service i received and the slow shipping."
"I decided to purchase WeatherTech front and rear floor mats for a ‘09 Camry Hybrid that I just purchased. I found KBCarStuff offered these mats at a competitive price with free shipping. I ordered the mats online on Thursday, and received them two days later via FedEx Saturday home delivery. The mats arrived in great shape and fit my car perfectly. The only minor issue was that when I ordered the mats I requested that KBCarStuff send an email with a tracking number when the mats shipped but I never got the email.
Another person who posted a review mentioned that since KBCarStuff is a Canadian company, they were charged an additional $11 foreign currency fee when they charged their WeatherTech mat purchase on their VISA credit card. I also paid by a VISA card (BofA) and was charged a $0.94 foreign currency fee which was no big deal.
Overall I am happy with KBCarStuff and would purchase from them again.

"TERRIBLE SERVICE! Sent us broken headlights, had to go through a whole ordeal to send them back. They said they would exchange them but took 2 WEEKS after they had been shipped back to tell us theyre back ordered (even though they told us they were shipping "the next day" every time we called).
So we decided to cancel it all together and talked to someone named Danny who was not helpful at all. All he said that he had "discussed it with his supervisor" and there was "nothing he could do." Whenever we asked to talk to the supervisor though, he was always in a conference. We never got a full refund for our purchase.
DO NOT Recommend!! Complete waste of time and money."
"Well first off a big thanks to Steve he has a superior product than what I have used in the past.
I will first say I am a mechanic, machinist by trade who has installed 4 other kits for my own vehicles as well as friends so this was not something new to me as far as the kit installation.
As many people know the net is loaded with kits and some so cheap you just have to ask how can they offer them so low of prices.I purchased 2 of those cheap kits for my Motor bike as well as a scooter just to try them and see how they work as well as installation process for both a motor bike and a scooter( as scooters have such poor lighting)
I installed both kits from different Ebay sellers with no issues, both with the same results worked GREAT.The best value was the kit installed on the summer scooter. Could see like never before and a low draw on the electrical as I had tried every bulb I could get for the scooter the HID kit was well worth it.
With several months passing I had issues on the scooter so I tried to contact the seller on EBAY. GONE like the wind they were no longer around for a warrenty. So now I need another ballast and will just get a new kit. Like Steve and others have pointed out with HID kits purchase from someone with a business reputation as well as customer service.
I followed the threads with the HID kits (Xtreme Digital HID Conversion Kit) sold by http://www.kbcarstuff.com/Xtreme-Digital-HID-Kits-s/21.htm on the forum here as well as looked online.
I had ordered a set of headlight lenses for my work van from Steve before I had no issues making the choice to deal with him.
The 2010 Terrain has issues with the canbus (flickering lights or clicking relays after installing with out a canbus fix) so I confirmed a order with Steve then ordered. And why not as the bulbs were on sale order another color
I ordered the 6500 HID kit plus a spare set of 5000 bulbs so my wife could pick which she liked the best. As it turned out my wife liked the 6500 color the best..My wife just drove down to Seattle for the weekend, and she said (how could I have done with out the HID lights before)
What a great product, fast email response as well."
