"My granddaughter sent me a bouquet of sunflowers. The box said they were packed in water. They were dry as a bone and never did open up like the brochure said. The vase was very short and not the cylindrical shape they showed in the brochure. This is the worst experience I have had with a florist. I am so surprised that Amazon does business with this firm after I have read the other reviews. I feel that some adjustment should be made or a new bouquet. "
"My boyfriend purchased a special "Rock the Rainbow" bouquet of orchids for VDay from KaBloom that promised a free circular vase and orchids of various colors (red, purple, blue, green). What came was this:
1) Box of damaged orchids with only purple/white colors, no blue/green/yellow/etc.
2) No plant food, despite an instruction card saying that they'd provide it
3) The wrong vase (not a circular vase that would suit the flowers, but a rectangular one)
Although some of the stems were pretty, this was definitely NOT what he had ordered. The illustration of the product is no where near the actual -- to such a degree that I'd argue it as false advertising.
Upon calling customer service, there was no receiver on the other side. Also they were not responsive via social media.
Will never use this company again and would advise people to avoid it. "
"HORRIBLE! I ordered my mother a set of beautiful flowers to be delivered the Friday before Mother's Day. My surprise turns out to be a box of dead flowers.
I log onto their facebook and there's another 10 moms that have the same issue. I post photos of the dead flowers and so does another mom. We each comment on our experience and the lack of CS. When calling CS "Wanda" keeps hanging up. When you finally get through a message tell you to expect a call back within 3 days. 3 Days? Mother's Day will have passed by then. 3 days and no call.
I log back onto facebook and our photos and comments have been deleted! All the sudden 3 magical comments about how pretty their flowers were appear.
It has been a week and still no call. I have emailed them twice. Horrible, do not order from this site.
***I am soooo disappointed and will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau."
"I used KaBloom for Mother's Day--had some misgivings because of the spotty reviews, but now I'm glad I took a chance on them. The orchids arrived in perfect condition, and my mother (a tough customer) is raving about them! From the little water reservoirs on the stems to the careful way they were wrapped, plus the included plant food--she was super pleased, so I am too."
"All of these reviews are for KABLOOM out of Mass. not the individual stores such as Kabloom of Palatine call the store directly and not the corporate number they are not reliable "
"Ordered an arrangment ($100) for my boss's daughter's birthday, to be delivered to her apartment in NYC. She was at home all day. Delivery person came, did not call her number (which we provided to KaBloom), and did not leave flowers as "there is 'no door man' at that building". When flowers were finally delivered, they were dead.
We've made two calls and two different (nice) customer service operators promised that a manager would call back. We have not heard a word, nor have we received a refund on the money spent.
Very disappointing, since I did see some good reviews elsewhere online."
"I tried working with Kabloom for my wedding and boy was that a mistake. I received a quote for double my budget price only after I was asked to give a deposit. On the contract that I was sent it stated that there was a $100.00 non-refundable deposit and I was charged $275.00 which INCLUDED TAX! After changing my mind and deciding not to work with Kabloom the company was refusing to refund my deposit, even though we did not sign a contract and only $100.00 should have been nonrefundable. After much back and forth with a horribly rude individual they agreed to refund everything but the $100.00, we received a check some weeks later for less than the amount agreed upon. I filed a fraud claim against the company, contacted the better business bureau and have contacted an attorney. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service and no business sense. DO NOT BUY FROM KABLOOM PALATINE unless you want to get ripped off. "
"I ordered 50 Lily Blooms from KaBloom last month and I was extremely satisfied with my order. My flowers were delivered on time and stayed fresh for two weeks - no lie! I did some research prior to purchasing (because of the negative reviews here) and found that the original owner sued the people who purchased the company from him because their poor service ruined KaBloom's reputation. He has also recently taken back the business and is working to better it.
Give them a try!"
"BEWARE!!!! 1 dozen roses ordered for valentines day received 10 and 1 stem. Petals falling off. Their customer service SUCKS!!! Would not refund purchase, just offered to deliver another 12 on Tuesday the feb 17. Like that was going to make it alright. THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS. If I can help do that I will!"
"Ordering from Kabloom was a terrible mistake. I wish that I had checked resellerratings.com before getting rooked by these hacks. I paid about $20 over what a comparable bouquet would cost at FTD.com, because Kabloom's website said that they could get the flowers delivered by Mother's Day... Long story short, the flowers arrived the Wednesday after. Customer service at this company is a joke... Lesson learned: Kabloom=Frustration. Cool name, terrible company."
"Valentines order that was placed one month prior to delivery arrived on time - however there were 2 broken rose stems and the flowers never bloomed. I e-mailed them my concerns and they replied 3 days later offering a replacement order. They promised the order one week later and it still has never arrived. I called customer service and they "noted the concern" and promised a call back. To date, the call back has never occured. I spent $70 on flowers that looked so bad that they embarrased me when they arrived - AND NO CUSTOMER SERVICE - NO REFUND. THIS IS THE WORST FLORAL COMPANY I HAVE EVER DELT WITH. WARNING: Do not let them trick you into placing any type of order with this poorly run organization.
UPDATE: LASTEST - The Kabloom Customer Care voice mailbox is full at their corporate office - I e-mailed their president and customer care a week ago - still no response. Now I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in MA. I encourage you to do so also."
"Ordered roses for Valentine's Day. Our flowers died within 48 hours of receiving them. It has been impossible getting in touch with them since then."
"ordered a flower and a chocolate on V-Day and my g/f got only flower. she liked the flower but it is shameful that she didn't get chocolate on the V-Day.
e-mail confirmations sux (i actually never got one!) and customer service (via phone) took too long to answer. i called three times and had to wait at least 20 min to reach the customer rep. however, when i finally reached her customer rep. was nice and told me that she would resend the chocolate that wasn't delivered properly. "
"I ordered flowers for delivery on Valentine's Day, 2006. The flowers did not arrive, not even as of COB February 16.
I tried to call Kabloom several times, but ended up on hold for over 15 minutes each time. Because of the nature of my work, I cannot stay on the phone for such extended periods of time. On February 16, my girlfriend, for whom the flowers were intended, called Kabloom customer service for me in order to cancel the order and request a refund. After a 35 minute wait, she was very rudely told by the representative that "I do not cancel orders" and promptly hung up on her as my girlfriend was in mid-sentence trying to ask to be transferred to someone else.
These flowers were meant to be a source of happiness for my girlfriend. Instead, not only was she disappointed at not receiving them on Valentine's Day, she wasted her time and was rudely treated by Kabloom's customer service!
I'm out $50, there are no flowers, and my girlfriend was treated rudely. Thanks a lot, Kabloom!

"I ordered this arrangement online for my friend's wedding using the VIP 15% discount on 12/27. This discount was reflected on every page of the ordering proccess. It even says the dollar amount I'd save! But after I clicked on the "place my order" button, it charged me for the full amount as if I've never put the discount code in there.
I tried calling them, they told me to call another number and so I did but then they told me to call the number I called before because they can't pull up my order.
It is so confusing, their management sucks!!
NEVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM KABLOOM!!!"
