"I am very pleased with my Kencove Farm Fence. I have the 40" sheep & poultry netting, and it performs exactly as I hoped. I haven't had any predator problems: there are coyotes, feral dogs, and foxes in my area, and this fence is the only barrier between them and my sheep. I ordered this particular fence for several reasons. First, the step-in posts are essential! I have had the misfortune to work with the single-spike type in the past, in heavy clay no less, and it required me to first hammer in a large spike nail, soften the clay with water, and then insert the fence post. The step-in posts go right into clay, and have more stability in the sandy soil I now have. Also, I do have chickens in the same pasture with my sheep, and the wire spacing is narrow enough to contain even my smallest adult birds. I practice rotational grazing, and these fences make it both easy and affordable. The free shipping was another great bonus, and it arrived via UPS in no time! Electric netting of this type is the ONLY fence that will contain my Cotswold ram; he can crush 2 x 6 boards in a matter of seconds, but he hates to even put his nose on this fence! Each fence comes with plenty of stakes and ties for securing the corners. Tips for using this kind of fence: keep the grass cut underneath it, especially in areas with frequent rain, snow, or heavy dew, and make sure your charger has sufficient juice to get the job done. The only difficulty I have had with it is that the clips to connect two fences together take a little elbow grease, but they do not come apart when you don't want them to. Highly recommended!"
