"I really wish that I looked at this site before buying from kenmar, as I was really nervous but decided to anyways since they were giving me so many free gifts, free shipping (1 day they told me!) which made me think it was a great deal.

Unfortunately, I was wrong. The day after I placed the order I found my watch on Nordstrom's.com for 25% off. (The watch I purchased was $450, new price = $337.50 significant reduction) Since Kenmar guarantees 100% customer satisfaction I assumed that it wouldn't be a big deal and I submitted a request for a price match. They responded, but told me the watch was out of stock even though I clearly stated that I had already purchased the watch -- I emailed them back with my order number but they never got back to me.

So I called ...

1.) Spoke to a woman who obviously hated her life. She gave me completely incorrect information.
2.) Called back spoke with manager - Mike. He was sarcastic and unwilling to honor the services guaranteed on the website. Was defensive and told me to call the manufacturer because the watches were different model numbers and therefore I did not qualify for a price match
3.) I called the manufacturer ... they looked into it and verified that they were indeed identical watches.

At one point, Mike said that if I did get the price match I would have to return the free gifts they gave me ... even though the receipt stated: "Please accept the enclosed digital world time travel clock/calculator/calendar/alarm as a gift from a friend."
--> Apparently this gift wasn't from a friend, as it was taken away from me.

Overall, never buy from this company. Absolutely ridiculous and def. not 100% customer satisfaction -- more like .5% (the watch was beautiful ...)

"Seller did not handle request for a refund professionally. Stated that "we sell watches not boomerangs" apparently an attempt at humor i.e. they don't like to deal with customers who return watches, and made other disparaging comments about me. They checked my profile and saw that this was the second watch I had returned from them - What a sin! Also accusingly stated that "real" reason I was returning the watch was buyer's regret rather than the workmanship problem with the watch itself that had come to my wife's attention after less than 10 days of wearing.

Unless you don't mind being made to feel like a "problem customer" if you happen to have a problem with your purchase and need to return, avoid this store. Also I do not understand what is their relationship to Neweggmall.com, which sells and advertises their watches but at cheaper prices than are available direct on this website, but that's neither here nor there.

"Once the stock comes in, and if you pay for it, they do ship to you fast. My problem is they didn't ship the watch I ordered, it was supposed to be Kenneth Cole 3722. Instead, they shipped KC 3732. I kept it, since it was a looker. They didn't inform me of this, even though it appears to be an upgrade.
When they say watch will be back in stock in 7-10 days, be prepared to wait like 14-23 days. Make sur you get on the "be notified" email list, so you'll know when it comes in. Then, go back to the site, do not order from the email. They attempt to get you to overpay for shipping. Also, on their site they have all this BS upsell shipping crap, trying to make you spend more money.
All said, I will probably NOT order from them again, they're slightly "shady".

"Matched a lower price, next day shipped and received a BNIB Oceanus. Corrected missing information from online ship not once but twice.

Not sure one could ask for more. Hopefully won't have to test customer service any more.

Navigating the phone system to get to a real person was initially cumbersome, but did get there.

"Store was not willing to work with me on a watch they sent me which had been refurbished and had marks from a resizing. They insisted the watch was new, and that I should call the manufacturer (Fortis). How would that address my problem?

The watch did ship quick, but ultimately the post service customer support was poor.

"My only complaint with Kenmar is that they seemed to be quite defensive and not very willing to provide sufficient information to help me validate their claims of being an authorized dealer. In my experience purchasing a Casio WVQ560sga-7av I found the U.S inventory very limited because it was a new model. Casio told me that Kenmar was NOT an authorized dealer but Kenmar then told me they operated under the business name of Jeffery, Inc. and that they purchased their inventory from Casio. That helped, but when Casio confirmed to me that Jeffery was an authorized dealer they also informed me that Jeffery had not purchased this watch from them.

In a long exchange of emails, Michael @ Kenmar basically refused to connect the dots for me and suggested I shop elsewhere. He insisted that they were legit, but did not give me enough information required to validate this.

However I was motivated to validate what appeared to be true (that Jeffery was indeed an authorized Casio dealer, that the Kenmar inventory was legitimate and that they had the watch in stock). So from Casio I learned that VistaTech was the largest Casio distributor in the U.S. and then it started to come together for me: Kenmar, operating under the name Jeffery, Inc, must have obtained their Casio inventory from Vistatech.

Vistatech confirmed this for me and so I was able to connect all the dots sufficiently. I then ordered the watch from Kenmar at the web advertised price (for all their trouble I decided not to make an offer as their web site encourages). The watch arrived on time and was exactly as I expected and it works perfectly.

So the bottom line is that even though it was rather painful to get all of the required information, I was able to do so and found that Kenmar was a good place to buy my watch from, and I would buy from them again.

"The order was completed very quickly. I ordered it in the night and it was shipped the next day. The package was in very good condition and the watch was brand new with all packaging. "Kenmar Watches allowed me to name my own price. Retailed at $395, they were selling it for $196 since I've seen it for about $200 elsewhere. They accepted my price and sent it. It came fast, in its original box and warranty, wrapped in thick bubble wrap so nothing inside is broken. It even came with the price tag if it would be in a retail store.

Kenmar Watches has gained my trust as a lucrative business that cares about their customers and their money.
