Keshav's tiny Manhattan store is filled with artist-grade sitars, tablas, harmoniums etc. I have found him to be really helpful with customers new to Indian music who are often very nervous about buying their first sitar or tablas. He is one of only a very few people in the USA who does custom tuning of harmoniums. I have purchased numerous drums from him over the years and he's always managed to have really great quality stuff and he never tries to steer me towards spending more money and in fact has several times talked me into spending less in order to get something that really suits me. Keshav's little shop is a really special place."
