"I ordered a jacket 1/04 and i have a catalog with free express shipping(expires 2/04) i used it. Today(1/20) it still hasn't shipped so i called them and told them my issue, they said i would get it in 10 days but they would charge $10 for shipping however i mentioned the express coupon and then they said i couldn't get it till 2/05 and the coupon would've expired by then. Overall I'm extremely disappointed. I will never place an order here again."
"I've been ordering from them for years. Unfortunately in the past 2 or 3 years service, quality, and everything else about them has gone to hell.
Facts:
Even when they make a mistake and send the wrong size you end up paying for the mistake.
They do not answer emails in a timely manner if at all.
The quality of their clothes vs the price is insane.
Their clothes will rip out, have loose stitching, have hanging strings, be the absolute wrong size.
Wrong size you ask? A recent order of a pair of mens pants in size 68 came with a 68 label however when measured according to their size chart and every other one the pants were in fact a 62. That's just unacceptable."
"Good clothes at a good price...on those rare occasions where they ACTUALLY HAVE what their catalog says they're SUPPOSED TO have! Only reason I bother with them at all is because when they actually deliver on an item, I've been quite satisfied with the product. But then there's the frustration of always having 75% of what I order come up "no longer available" even if I order the day the catalog arrived in the mail! If they're not willing to be bothered with keeping an inventory larger than will fit in a walk in closet, then they shouldn't advertise all this great stuff that they never have when you try to order it. Thanks to all the frustration, I concur with everyone else's one-star rating."
"I have been a KingSize customer for many years and I have steadily seen the quality of their merchandise drop. My last, (and final) order was placed 14 days before I was to leave on a Florida vacation. I specifically ordered items that were listed as in stock so that they would arrive in time for me to use them. Fully 1/3 of the order turned out to be backordered. strike one. All The tank tops I ordered shrank fully two sizes from comfortable to tube top. These were 20$ tank tops! strike two. I took the time to e-mail them and explain my dissatisfaction and got an automated message with a link to the return console on their website. There was a link for additional communication but it doesn't work! By the way, their return policy is for you to pay return shipping and when they get around to checking it in you may get a credit. Strike three.
For anyone reading this I would heartily recommend that you shop elsewhere. If anyone at king size can read this, shame on your company. Here is a customer looking for a reason not to stop doing business with you and the best you can muster is an automated response and a long wait on hold. The only recourse I have is to post a review on the WWW. Here you go.
In fairness, I ordered some champion brand merchandise and it is fine quality and decent price. I am less than impressed with the quality of any of the KingSize brand merchandise I purchased. Cheap materials, crooked seams, marginal fit. It's pretty big (until you wash it) and that's about it."
"Buyer beware! Cheap quality and items very big. My son is 6'5 and the sweats and swimshorts I ordered were way too long. I returned 2 items and realized that they charged me for shipping both ways so im out $14!"
"I am extremly disappointed with kingsize direct I placed a order and never received it. I was told i would receive a credit for it and then be rebilled for a new order. She placed new order in and charged me for it but of coause they did not give me the credit for the order i was to receive. They flat out lied to me. Beware when placing a order with them you may not receive on because they do not send ups only mail and don't track it so you know what happened to it. Then they won't return money right away"
"I ordered two jackets, using the online measurement guide I placed my order. One jacket was on back order for two months but the other jacket arrived promptly, however the guide was off and I ordered a size that was too large. I called a rep and explained the situation who recommended I let her cancel my order and submit a new order with the correct size for the jacket plus the one on back order, I let her. When my credit card statement arrived I was charged about $7 more dollars than before, I decided to let it go.
Two months later my second jacket arrives and the outside wrapper shows the correct size however when opening it the jacket is 3 sizes smaller! I fill out the appropriate paperwork and walk the package into a UPS store for exchange. After no exchange shows up after a month I call and they say that no return has been processed but it could take a week or two, after all this I tell them to keep the jacket and refund my card.
Now over two months since the return of the jacket customer no service claims that I did not return the jacket.
Crooks, nothing but trouble with this outfit. I shop almost exclusively online and this is by far the worst experience I have had. "
"I was VERY disappointed in the advertising for "free express shipping" for my order...that translated into standard shipping charges instead of the express charge. The advertisement was very misleading and "express" still took over 7 days to get to my home. I will NOT be ordering from King Size Direct again. I value honesty and integrity in marketing, and this company did not deliver that in the slightest. "
"I place my order realized I put in the wrong size on a pair of pants when I got the confirmation. Not even 5 minuets and they wouldn't help me. They told me it was in process. The economy is horrible I try to get a few items for Christmas and they won't help. The customer service rep was very rude. I mean come on it takes 2 days to ship and you can't change a size for me. I would never order form this company again. The stink."
"My overall experience has been slightly in the positive direction, with a number of caveats. 1. My most recent order took 3 days for them to even get out the door, which is very slow in the internet age (in my opinion). 2. It appears they now use the bargain-cheapest UPS option for shipping, whereby UPS doesn't deliver directly - they turn items over to the local Postal Service. My recent order was a faux leather jacket, which the mailman proceeded to wad up and stuff into my mailbox. 3. I've returned most of the items I've ordered, due to odd fit, poor quality of materials, or the item not quite being what the ads led me to expect. On a positive note, the returns were processed very quickly, in relation to other retailers I've dealt with. 4. I've posted (or tried to post) ratings for items I've ordered, but it seems to me that they censor out the bad reviews, leading me to think that the impression left from reading the reviews is inordinately & inaccurately positive. It's hard to trust a business that doesn't let in the negative comments, along with the positive ones. My experiences could be unique, but these are my perceptions of KingSize."

"As the other reviewer states...prices are not that good, their specials are difficult to work with and their customer service is extremely lacking. I first emailed them about the fact their electronic 'coupon' and the response was not helpful at all.
When you go to order something you are forced to choose the size, color and then attempt to add it to your basket before you are told it is unavailable. This is a pathetic web design.
This last order I ordered two pairs of jeans along with the hemming option. No sign of any issues and checked out. Today I look in the mail and see I have received a postcard that both items are now no longer available! Again...PATHETIC. All it says is "please accept our apologies"...with no attempt at real compensation for my aggravation or time.

"A good source for clothing and accessories for the big and tall man. Prices are very high -- unless you haunt their clearance sections. Shipping delay is 2-3 days. Clothing quality is good. Sizing is a crap shoot. Web site is HORRIBLE since they do not remove items that are out-of-stock. You have to try to put items in your shopping cart to find out if they are available --- and they frequently are NOT available. Sale catalogs will flood your mailbox with complicated discount offers that often are not useful since the items are not in stock. "
