"Kitchen Clique offered for sale a Mauviel roasting pan on their website. The website accepted the order, which was through Paypal.
I looked up my purchase the next day and it was cancelled. No notice from them to my email. I called and the CSR said the item was out of stock.
My expectations were extremely low when I originally placed the order, as I read of bait-and-switch experiences of other reviewers. I wrote on the order that I wanted only the item I had ordered.
It was a complete waste of time & effort. But not a surprise."
"Listed item for sale and allowed order to be placed for item. They next day, they e-mailed stating item is discontinued and cancelled the order. After cancelling the order, their website continues to list the item and allow orders to be placed.
Wasted my time. Will waste the next person's time as well."
"The order was immediately confirmed, but 5 days later, still wasn't shipped. I wrote two emails and after the second one, they called me. It turns out that they were advertising out of stock items. My order had two items and the one in stock is being shipped. The one that is out of stock is being cancelled.
Is it too much to ask that online retailers only accept orders for in stock items or at least warn customers if an item is back ordered?"
"Purchased a Krupps coffe maker from these guys. The price was great, and shipping was free. Arrived day after I purchased it..what else can one ask for?"
